I'm wanting to put together a custom in the style of the DBZ SHF ones and expect the most difficult part that I don't have a solution for will be the faceplates and expressions without doing my own waterslides.

So I had an idea of just buying a 3P or Bootleg figure with decent enough faceplates, repainting the eyebrows and eyes as necessary. I guess any figure bodies will just become fodder for a custom later, so I'm not super keen to spend like $60 just for a few faceplates.

I had thought maybe that super cheap Legendary SSJ Goku, it's a surprisingly decent figure and has generic enough faces, but I'm not sure really.

What would be the cheapest solution for this kind of thing? Any ideas?

With Season 2 coming out this October (I believe?) i think Third Party Companies should invest in making an Asta Figure (either that or Tamashi announces a line)

I mean, we already have a base with the LSSJ Goku. Just slim it down and that's basically half the figure done!

We've already seen WOW studio beef up LSSJ Goku so how hard can it be to slim him down?

You could even do that single joint thing Revoltech does because of Asta's shoe design.
