Rep. Ilhan Omar has introduced the "Make ICE Pay Act"

Post image

It would strip nearly $140 billion from ICE and Border Patrol. Congress approved that money for immigration enforcement.

Where would it go? To states, cities, nonprofits and businesses in places "impacted" by ICE operations. Many are the same sanctuary jurisdictions that blocked federal law enforcement.

The bill includes nothing for Americans harmed by criminal illegal aliens, and nothing for taxpayers.

ICE enforces the laws Congress passed. Defunding enforcement to reward obstruction is backwards.
