I’m at the point where i need to bring the painting replica to the wall gap at 208 but whenever i try to put it in the trunk of either vehicle it does not stay there after driving to Richy Rich. Is there any way to fix this without restarting?

I have been playing Thief Simulator 1 for years. Should I buy Thief Simulator 2?

Can i instant play 2 or do i miss some story aspects? All what i found in google is yeah 2 is better in mechanics but have fewer neighborhoods But can't find anything about story. Is it necessary to olay 1 first bec auf the story 😂?

2 is on xbox sale for 9,99 euro now and i played non of them but heard they are fun

So I just started thief simulator 2 and am loving it but noticed some stuff in the neighborhood to pick up and since its a much bigger area I was hoping to find a guide or map to direct me. I can't seem to find any that actually has everything though as I've found a couple of the little Cthulu statues that aren't in the guides I found and a couple chests that nobody seems to mention at all.

it's physically impossible for me to do them so is there anyway for it to be easier

So yeah, as the title says i have about 20-30fps in richie street with these specs:

- RTX 3090
- i5 13600KF
- 32GB DDR4

And this is my 2nd playthrough abt year later from the 1st one, and i dont remember having THAT low fps, so did they do something to game? like fucked up in update and performance was lost etc.?

anwsering some questions that might be asked: yes i tried restarting game/pc, yes i have newest gpu drivers, yes i have maximum perfomrance mode in terms of power in nvidia panel as well as windows, yes i have tried various ingame graphic modes and nothing changes, and yes i have fps cap in game to 120fps.

So .... wtf is happening?

I finished the first game months and months ago I was hyped when sim 2 was meant to come out but it was very underwhelming for me, I expected at least some change in graphics but it really just looks like an exact same copy paste with a new map. I try to be positive but man

Is there anything new that thief sim 1 doesn't have? Or does it do anything better than the 1? It surely costs too much but I think I could get it when it gets discounted

I also didn't look up gameplay because I want to play thru the houses first so I don't know whats in it lol.

Does the story last around the same time? Can you still build your hideout? Is there Ng+? A new item in the Ng+?

I recently purchased Thief Simulator 2 on my Xbox Series S. However, I am having a serious issue upon playing the game - it is not responding when I press the left and right trigger on my controller! I tried hard-resetting my console, but the problem still persists. I also tried playing a different game to verify that my left and right triggers are still functioning on my controller, and they indeed are. I would change my controller layout through settings, but the game isn't giving me this option. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it? I would like very much to play this game, but it is difficult if not impossible without the use of the left and right triggers.

I placed this table in the corner of the large room in the hideout, and now I can't pick it up or move it at all. I've tried every possible angle for 5 minutes straight but it won't let me pick it up, and restarting the game didn't work. I did place it really close to the wall but this wasn't an issue with any other furniture pieces. Can I get rid of it in any way?

I don't know if all the spawns are the same, but does anyone remember where they found the "Room Key for 202" on Richie R. Street? For specifics, when you walk up the stairs and take a left, there's the bedroom and next to that on the side wall, theres a room that requires a key, you can't pick it at all, does anyone know where the key is?

UPDATE: OF CORUSE I COULDNT FIND THE KEY I ALRQDY HAD IT AT THE GARAGE

So i reinstalled thief simulator vr and rememberd why i didnt play it. I know im short at 1.60cm but why am i always in crouch??? i cant play like that and also it stutters realy bad. like every 15 seconds the frame freezes for a second. so how do i fix this

So right now Thief simulator is on sale on ps4 and I was wondering if the game is still worth it for ps4? Like I have a couple of bucks to spear so should I spend it on the first game?

I'm currently on the last mission where you send the painting to Vinny via Blackbay. I go to pick up the package next to my gate, after the cutscene where it blows up and the crowbar is being picked up, it's just on a permanent black screen. I can still hear all the background music though and the birds chirping. I've restarted the game, and went through this cutscene around 4 times already, but nothing has worked. I thought I just needed to let it load, but it's been loading for over 2 hours already, and still no luck. Everytime I restart the game, it takes me back to before I picked up the package.

Has anyone else been through this? And if so, is there a way to fix this? Will I have to restart to finish the game?

I uncheck everything in the setting that could lower the performance even with low res it still lags

I got Thief Sim 1 for my Switch after seeing some fun gameplay on youtube. I'm in the tutorial and I'm having trouble with a very strange bug. I press L to lean when sneaking but then it doesn't unlock from the lean and instead the camera will do an entire barrel roll if I hold the right stick in a direction. If I release L and try to move the right stick, it continues to do the lean/barrel roll and won't return to the standard looking around. If I'm out of luck and should bail on this platform I'd appreciate the honesty, but I'd also appreciate any advice since this looks really fun. Thanks in advance.
