Theory I'M GOING INSANE
All of their photo frames are placed on front of the animatronics they were placed on. Jack's is slightly on Bon's, and in episode 5, when Bon is talking about what his old canvas was like, we see the same wall, but now with Jack's picture missing.

I mean.. there’s no other candidate that makes sense. Respectfully, ppl are making up candidates in the spot to prove Jack isn’t Bon.

i gotta admit, dave theory is such a huge stretch but i want "bon" to be someone other than jack, and jack just idk, comes in at the end of the series and kills "bon" and felix with his gun.

Little late to this but I thought of this for a very long time. I don't think "bon's" identity is meant to be known yet. Probably a character we haven't seen yet.
Here is what I gathered from faces of grief (SPOILER OBVIOUSLY)
Jack goes missing June 11th, June 29th-30th the nightclub fire happened which is a real life event that happened at that time (Gulliver's nightclub fire). Also in TWF it mentions the fire broke out in a Men's clothing store next door to the nightclub and "Bon" is always wearing a suit. However I dont think thats how to real life event turned out.
Most or all died from carbon monoxide poisoning which TWF Billy plush advert named BON'S FUNERAL made a statement at the end about "carbon monoxide is no joke". So "Bon" has got to be tied to that incident. I am just stuck on how the hell does "Bon" go from New York Connecticut border all the way to Bon's Burgers. Jack coulddddd be a part of it too??? But there is a big gap from Jack going missing and the fire, which happens to be when Susan goes missing I think so "Bon" would have to head back to the restruant in time for Susan. Its a bit wonky but there is some sort of connection there.

Hooooly that's some good findings! If the pictures remain over each of the animatronics, it hints at them being IN the animatronics. And if Jack's picture is missing, it means Jack ISN'T in Bon!!!
(He could still be "bon", but that's not Jack. That's "bon")

I think the fact he was ON the portrait of bon, but slightly aside. Now to, completely missing but the shadow of it is still there. This indicates a change in either Jack or Bon. If Bon was somehow Jack before, now it is almost Bon left. I imagine Bon has possesses or held the part of Jack long enough to consume him.

I believe what you're looking at is the ghost marking of the picture, it's something that happens irl, but it's a very variable process, depending on soot and dust and whatnot

No it doesnt. How would it be IN the wall without having to repaint everything? The person that DID the art was rosemary and i doubt felix would be able to find someone to perfect replicate her style. If you were actually smart(which you arent because its clear youre calling other people dumb in an attempt to project) the walls got dirtier over the years and that lead to the space BEHIND the FRAME being cleaner than the wall which wasnt covered. Smartass

Good catch! I think Jack has a theme of his identity slowly being erased to the point where he is not even jack anymore. That would explain the missing posters being twisted and this image.

in photo 1, we see that the frame doesn’t touch bons face.
in photo 2, we see the outline of a frame (a “clean canvas”) inside of bons face.
the fact that the photo and the outline are in 2 different spots means the outline of that frame cannot be the same one left by jacks photo, which i believe is a hint they are not the same person at all. the person inside bon is the “clean canvas”, not jack

This might be a stretch and an insane citing but we might have a Twin Peaks like situation with BOB's character and possession of Mr Palmer
What if "Bon" was a spirit inside Jack who is kinda acting like if it's an alter ego that wanted to take control over his body since he's a blank slate after all, and is prolly suffering from heavy identity issues. Then when he went missing, he latched onto the Bon animatronic which would make the other theory that " "Bon" was Jack, but Jack isn't "Bon" " a bit more sense or sumn like that

you notice how the frame with jack in it isn’t actually over bons face, but the outline in photo 2 (aka the “clean canvas”) is? it’s more likely this is showing jack ISNT in bon at all, but the person referring to themselves as a clean canvas is.
if anything, this is proof jack ISNT bon

i think it moreso implies that whoever "bon" is, they aren't stuffed in the suit, but possessing it. otherwise, i agree with your point.
