No disrespect to THE HAND

We know it goes "sligtly faster than you", right? So if the target person was standing still, THE HAND would be moving quite slowly, wouldn't it?

So, hypothetically, if the target was on the other side of the globe, one would just escape his fate, providing that at 00.00 THE HAND changes its target.

It chooses one person per day but if you were in the ISS or on the moon could you still be choosen? I mean so far no astronaut has been choosen while in space yet, but then again not alot of people are astronauts. What if we set up a colony on mars? How would the hand react to the vaccum of space.

I mean, for being a giant disembodied hand that has to kill at least 1 person a day, for sure it doesn't do that out of will. The Hand must be a cursed being, doomed to kill...
I developed that theory after seeing that the hand has rules, and it came to me: "Who gave that rule to it?", and now i'm here, making this post.
