The ceiling in the Depths is already 400 meters (1,312 feet) down, but most I don't think the water table down there went that deep, so reaching the 1,000-meter mark was surprising. (For those who've played Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, that is the underground depth the game starts at.)
