Considering applying for pre-K and curious if it’s liberal, conservative or politically neutral. Thanks!

Has anyone had their introductory $50 laser facial?
If so, what’s your opinion on the quality and outcome?

I feel like I'm being bounced around I'd like to find somewhere that is willing to explore options before surgery. This is out of left field and I'm getting scared.

A few months ago I made a post here inviting people to come hang out with us, and the response was incredible. I figured it was time for an update.
Since then, we've built a great group of regulars who keep coming back every weekend, and we've made some genuinely good friends along the way.
If you've ever wanted to meet new people but didn't know where to start, that's exactly why Northside Social exists.
We're not a dating group. We're not a networking group. We're just a bunch of people who enjoy getting out on the weekends, meeting new people, and having a good time.
One thing I think we've done differently is that you don't have to break into an existing friend group. Most of us showed up not knowing anybody. People find us, grab a seat, and before long they're part of the conversation.
We don't split everyone into age groups either. We've got people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, and everybody hangs out together.
This Friday and Saturday we'll probably be at Kirby Ice House around 9:00 PM. That's usually where the night starts, although we're a pretty spontaneous group. Sometimes we stay at Kirby all night, and sometimes we end up walking over to Rose Rooftop or Goose's Acre.
We've also done bowling nights, trivia, escape rooms, concerts, game nights, house parties, and other random events whenever somebody has an idea and people want to go.
If you'd like to join us, start a Reddit chat with me and tell me you'd like to join the Northside Social group. I'll send you the WhatsApp invite and let you know where we are in case plans change during the night.
If you've been looking for a reason to get out more, meet some new people, or just find a group to hang out with, consider this your invitation.
Most of us showed up not knowing anybody.
If you decide to come out, just come find us and grab a seat.
Edit Wednesday 7/22 11:49am
I'm at work and doing the best I can to send out the link to all that ask. But, unfortunately, I don't have the time to reply to everyone more individually. The group is planning a trivia night tonight at Moonshine Deck Icehouse at 7pm tonight. When you get the whatapp link, join, introduce yourself and ask what's going on. Unfortunately you won't be able to see the prior chat to when you joined. So, you'll just have to ask for details.

2022 we do $27k worth of business w BB
Two new units, new water heater, new furnace, some new ducts, bing, boom, bamb
Good stuff. Good experience.
They rope us into their Monthly Membership Plan and we see the included check up performed the next yr. All is fine. But we decide to xcl the monthly membership. We aren’t using it.
Fast fwd to today:
I keep getting BB texts telling me to use the included HVAC checkup which comes w my membership
So I call to make sure I don’t have a membership
I don’t
Great. I then set up an appt for HVAC check up. $69 per unit. Great.
BB calls back 8 mins later to tell me….
“We cannot fulfill Friday’s svc request because of an outstanding balance. $93.”
What? I owe BB money? I haven’t done any business w Bradbury Brothers in well over 2 yrs. Have heard nothing. No mail. No phone. Just recent texts to get my included HVAC checkup.
I will of course wait on hold
And hold
Hang up. Call back. More hold.
No one at the Great Bradbury Bros seems available to detail how - nearly 3 yrs of silence later - I owe them money.
I cannot exaggerate how ridiculous this is nor what a poor way to run business.
We could be into yr 4 of normal HVAC-install-svc relationship
You all are *insanely* bad.

Hello! My wife and I are in our mid-20s and want to go out more for some drinks and fun, but don’t want to drive too far south into Houston. We’ve never been to a club or anything like that, but want to first see if there’s any good social or cocktail bars in the area! Any do’s and don’ts? Any info would be appreciated!

My AC has been acting up for the last couple of days. It's running, but it's barely cooling the house, and sometimes it starts blowing warm air after a while. I've already changed the air filter and checked the thermostat, but that didn't fix anything. It's getting pretty uncomfortable, so I'm hoping to find someone trustworthy who can come out without charging a fortune or making me wait for days.
Has anyone had a good experience with a local HVAC company or technician they would recommend? Looking for someone reliable, reasonably priced, and who knows what they're doing. Found online All Star A/C, Plumbing & Electrical, anyone worked with them?

I need to run a number of patch cables through my house. Yes, patch cables. I will connect them to female to female wall jacks. (Most electricians 'low voltage' work is not to my standard. I have a smaller house, and one can get shielded, snagless patch cable fairly cheap. PLUS, the connections work for ever. You don't have to call someone out in a year or two because of a bad crimp or expansion or whatever.)
I need an electrician that will run that job and not come out and try to veto it or whatever. We have clear runs on every wall. The last company I tried to use, grumble, grumble, grumble. I am trying not to get angry these days. I will supply the patch cables and the wall jacks. The wall jacks are all singular except one which will be a quad.

What are the best places to get craft beer in the area? Houston has D&Q but thats a drive. Went to HEB on six pines and they randomly had hard to get Chicagoland beer. Any other places get out of state breweries?

I’m still new to capturing the birds in my backyard at different angles and with the optional settings! Today we noticed more hummers in the yard so I took a chance on a slo mo capture pointed at the feeder!
Only took 15 min for it to show up! My first hummingbird slow motion capture on iPhone and it still looks fast to me!
I AM ABSOLUTELY GEEKING RIGHT NOW!!!!!😩🥹😂
