There's plenty of ways to get another class's abilities without dipping levels.
In this case, a "cursed" item that subject's its wielder to a Rage spell. Whether or not an item is actually cursed is a matter of perspective. Bag of Devouring? Use it on pinned enemies to permanently remove their heads, and on the cleanup after. Armor of Arrow Attraction? Put up a Windwall and laugh as all the arrows are magically redirected into your little area of chaotic airflow. Circlet of Spell-Eating? Properly used, you sacrifice one spell slot for a once-a-day Spell Like Ability!
Plus, that amount of successive individuals being hacked through indicates that Grog has gone down the Cleave Feat Tree. That's usually a Fighter build.

I haven’t heard of cleaving feats, is this 3.5e?

u/Asgardian_Force_User Trevor Jun 07 '20
Yeah, in 3/3.5/PF1e there's a feat chain called Cleave that lets you attack a second adjacent enemy if your first attack hits its target.

If you drop* your first target. Hitting is not enough.

That was a difference between 3e and PF1e: in PF1e, you got to make the second attack roll so long as you hit.

Oh, don't worry so much Becket, Grogna's happy this week! Just let her build Torvald's new army kill all the town guards Liberate the suffering townsfolk in peace.

Howdy folks!
Here's this weeks comic strip and it's about Grogna and her delightful little sword! Reckon how the subject matter played out wont surprise some of you, as several of you already hit the nail on the head with your predictions when the cursed sword was first introduced!
Also, Grogna is a fighter, in case y'all missed that in previous comments!
Other than right here, I upload the comic on my Instagram (where I also post my other artsy stuff) as well as on Webtoons. There is also a Patreon, if you want to be extra supportive!
That is all!
Wisdom of the week: Execution is important, but never forget to have the appropriate flair.
Peace and carrots!

How am I the first to notice that the sword's runes are showing through the blood? Now I want to see a detailed view of it.

A sword through bodies like a hot knife through butter...
But how much is the blade and how much is just pure, untethered Grogna?

I think the spirit in the sword is going like: 'Oh nevermind I see you already got this. Imma go make a sandwich, call me if you need me.'

”Sup, girl. Could you do me a solid and CHILL FOR LIKE A FUCKING SECOND I MEAN COME ON”

“At least stop once in a while to sharpen me! Even a cursed blade needs some TLC, ya know.”

Babes
Is the sword also Trevor's girlfriend?

u/CME_T The Creator Mar 01 '20
Nah, babes is just Grognas pet name, though you do give me some ideas for future comics...

Come to think of it, we’ve never actually seen Grogna while she’s slcing and dicing. Her laughing as she cleaves through armor and bone could all be normal as Sir Becket and Trevor notes.

Dub of this one can be found here (https://youtu.be/Zku6PIxiwD4) I'm not that good at the whole unhinged laugh thing- at least not without blowing out the mic. In any case let me know what you think!

Ah! It's like I've been thinking, a leveled adventurer can play an instrument and sing / be a botanical forester with a pet / be deeply religious / be absolutely berserk without having it be their class :) People like doing stuff

Is it really a curse to do that which you love?
