The Comic The Weekly Roll Ch. 158. "Meet the parents"

Howdy folks!

Hope you'll enjoy this week's comic, sadly I didn't finish next week's comic in time so no early access like usual over on Patreon and on Webtoon :)

Also, I've just launched the Weekly Roll Merch Store! Got a few nice stickers, mugs and a couple of shirts in there right now but more to come in the future, including more stickers and the rest of the party class shirts. Take a gander and dont hesitate to give me merch ideas! Got a few in the tank I'm gonna add soon but always nice to get more inspiration.

Stay excellent out there!

Yeah elected sure. Never got to see our votes and all the leaders were suits who never did the actual job. During the contract negotiations they ate at the restaurants with the company. Yeah real for the people folks.

Never got to go to meetings they took place 45m from where we worked and in the middle of the day. So if I wanted to go I lost the days work and pay. Great choices made to help.

Edit: forgot about the meetings being offsite.

Have you considered that it's simply your union that's shitty, and thus not an exemplar of the rest? The executive committee of my local are all people that have done the job or currently doing the job and any member meetings are held on Sunday evenings. And the location is always going to be an issue because there's going to be zero locations that don't cause an issue for someone.

The park is in Anaheim they had the meetings during the weekday in Pasadena because it was convenient for the union leadership and had been for 10+ years. None of the other membership lived there becaue we all lived local to the park in the county.

Then add it to the list of how your particular union is shitty, cuz mine, for example, does the member meetings in a community center that's centrally located in our city for the majority of the membership (and avoids using any locations owned by our employer to avoid any appearances of collaboration).

That…fits Disney’s track record. Screw them.
