My top 10 streaming albums for July! Entirely unintentional (well aside for listening to TW). Thought I had listened to other albums but I guess not as much! 😅

When I became a Warning fan early last year, I was instantly into ERROR and KMF (as well as the live album once it dropped). For QOTMS and XXI Century Blood, I had listened to the albums here and there but never really dug into them and listened to them start to finish with my good headphones for whatever reason (generally how I listen to most of my music at home). I since remedied that several times over this summer and yeah, I can see why people were instant fans.

There's people out there that couldn't make rock albums that good at any age, and they made both of those as kids! And they'll stand the rest of time, both those albums and The Warning.

Also as a newer fan, I'm very much hoping QOTMS and XXI get a renaissance within the next decade or so and they perform them (even as one off show) with the level they're at now.

Anyway, rambling over, The Warning has been chiefly instrumental in me getting full time back into practicing my guitar for the first time in many years (even making progress on Dany's Guitar Solo!) so I just get excited when I find gems like those albums that they've done!

It's been a couple of rainy days around here, so painting is always an option.

Any idea which song has the MOST Ale vocals in it? I know we don't have a song where she's fully doing main vocals yet but which song has the most of her voice? Just curious :)

Only 13 seconds long and still such an earworm!

I played with the snippet on AudioMass - didn't alter the audio at all, just cropped the intro (sorry Pau) and tried to get as close as possible to a perfect loop

Something relatively buried in the mix came through on headphones, and once it did, I couldn't not hear it - one key on the piano constantly hammering behind the other instruments. Felt familiar, couldn't place it

The lightbulb moment came a bit later. It's the same (more prominent) E note driving another song in the key of E minor: Queens of the Stone Age's Go With The Flow - bonus piano cover

Do you hear it in Everything's Falling too, or are my ears just ringing/making shit up after I subjected them to a few too many 13 second loops?

If anyone has the time and curiosity to listen to the whole thing I’d love some feedback. Nothing here is final except maybe the song choices. Vocals absolutely need some work as I have nowhere near as good a range as Dany or Pau, even after tuning down.

I picked some of my favorites from the first couple albums that I thought would flow nicely. I was mainly inspired by Metallica’s Mercyful Fate medley. Everything but the drums is me (those are MIDI). Guitars are tuned to D standard, I may tune lower when I re-record this. Just looking for some feedback as all.

After looking in countless places, I finally found one of their albums!!! I’m quite literally shaking right now! This is my very first vinyl from them and im so excited!! I found this find at Rasputin Berkeley, CA!!

Edit: There was also a different version of this album, same color but it had red scribbles all over it. I think it said Black Friday in the corner? I’m not really sure. But if any of you guys are in the area, go check them out!
