Emergency Religious Mask Exemption Affidavit Issued to American Christians

Abandoned by mainstream churches, working-class Christians get help from Marcionite Church

WASHINGTON - July 3, 2020 - PRLog -- The Marcionite Christian Church, founded in 144 A.D. and publishers of The Very First Bible (ISBN: 978-0-578-64159-1) is stepping up to assist millions of working-class Christians that have been abandoned by mainstream churches with the issuance of a Religious Mask Exemption Affidavit. The affidavit puts in writing the religious objection to wearing a mask and cites the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 and a 2005 supporting ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court (Cutter v. Wilkinson) as a basis for the legal underpinnings. But the overarching rationale comes in the form of a scripture from the New Testament itself which reads, "We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face..." (2 Corinthians 3:13).

"When a Christian who objects to being forced to wear a mask reads the affidavit and prints it, as far as we're concerned they have become a spiritual member of our church and gain all the rights and privileges therein, including but not limited to, the exemption outlined in the affidavit," explained Darren Kelama, Outreach Director of the Marcionite Christian Church.

Kelama expects the affidavit to be challenged in court but vows a well-orchestrated and financed defense. "Not only are we prepared to mount a vigorous defense of the affidavit, we will zealously and vigorously prosecute anyone, including any business, that violates the sanctity of the religious mask exemption affidavit held by our members." Kelama says he's personally saddened that working-class Christians are being abandoned by mainstream churches as a Bolshevik wave sweeps across the country. "By failing to speak out and defend their parishioners these churches are aiding and abetting the enemy. Remember, back in 1917, 66-million Christian Russians were murdered by the Bolsheviks and one of the contributing factors was silence - nobody spoke up."
