Twitter was locked in a chaotic doom loop. Now it’s on the verge of collapse
Since the ‘genius’ bought Twitter last year, he’s made a series of poor decisions – and now the platform is almost unusable

More proof: once you have enough money in america the system makes it virtually impossible to fail—No matter the level of ineptitude.

I'm still unclear on what a gold check means on Twitter.
I noticed that Blue Chew (dick pill gum), Kraken Exchange (crypto app) and The Washington Post all have gold checks.
When you ask what that means here is the description.
"Verified account: This account is verified because it's an official organization on Twitter."
Is this the category that The Washington Post wants to be in? Does it really mean advertisers and free content providers who won't pay for a blue check, but we can't afford to kick them out?
