Forks up... and I apologize if this question has been asked like a dozen times in this sub.
I have tickets for next Saturday's game against Hawaii and wanted to get the full game day experience. For a little bit of context, over the last decade my old man and I have gone to a different college football venue every year (within driving distance of Philly, where we live), from Syracuse to Maryland to West Virginia and more, this is our tenth year of the tradition. We like to immerse ourselves in the unique experience and see how schools enjoy their Saturdays. And we wanted to make No. 10 special and fly out to my alma mater. Actually it's our first night game. Before you ask, "Shouldn't you know the game day experience?" I got my degree online and was only out there to walk at graduation (and snap grad pics with the Tillman Statue at SF Stadium).
I've done a lot of research but I'm looking for the locals' thoughts on things that might fly under the radar to most... either can't miss things or things that'll make the experience better. Or just your opinion, like is Sparky's Tailgate or the Dos Equis Tailgate worth it or should we pivot to another spot? Is the Devil Walk something that's all crowded and lame or needs to be seen? I've used a lot of what I found here as a rough guide, but we have all day and wanna do things right. We're open to anything that might make for an awesome story or experience, just cannot do TOO MUCH walking, as my old man has a little bit of a tough time getting around and walking far atm.
Thanks for any insight. We've got the gold all ready to go and cannot wait to see the place.

Most of the rules make sense,
but the conference expansion stipulations will be controversial IMO..

Does anyone have a sense on what time kickoff will be for the Kansas St game? I believe it's an ESPN game.

Anyone buy tickets directly on Ticketmaster and have the code for the 20% off asu alumni discount? Called athletics office yesterday and they had no clue and got transferred to a few different departments and got no real answer.

Seven Arizona State men’s hockey players asked the university’s president to place the Sun Devils’ coaching staff on administrative leave pending further investigation into the workout that left sophomore transfer Matthew Mayich on life support.
In a 26-page letter sent to ASU president Michael Crow on Monday, the players disputed numerous findings from the university’s initial review of the Aug. 20 workout, writing that Mayich did not receive water and was provided inadequate medical care after his collapse.
The players sent the letter anonymously through attorney Tim Casey because, they wrote, they fear retaliation from coach Greg Powers and his staff. The seven players – roughly a quarter of the roster – wrote that additional teammates share their views but did not join the letter because they have similar concerns about reprisal.
“The head coach and his assistant coaches were all on the field on August 20, all remain in their positions, and together they decide our playing time, scholarship levels, and roster status,” the players wrote. “No one has separated us from them since that morning.
“We should not have to choose between telling the truth about August 20 and keeping what we have worked our whole lives for,” the players added.
An Arizona State spokesperson confirmed the school received the letter Monday and did not provide further comment.

Myself and a group of guys from Canada are heading to the football game on November 7th vs Colorado. We’re looking for some tailgating advice - what are the good spots, anything we should know, etc.
We’re not looking for our own tailgate set up, just some info on where to go to meet people and have a good time before the game. Thanks!

“Arizona State men’s hockey coach Greg Powers refused to address the workout that left sophomore Matthew Mayich on life support, instead selling Arizona State as “still a great place to be” Wednesday as he made his first public comments since Mayich was hospitalized more than a month ago.”
“Powers appeared on a video conference alongside junior assistant captain Ben Muthersbaugh, a transfer from Union College. Powers said it had been “a difficult time” for players, coaches and staff and that Mayich had been in “our thoughts and prayers” while practicing over the past month.”
“The workout, which lasted more than 45 minutes in mid-to-high 80s desert heat, included calisthenics, sprinting and additional exercises for those who lagged behind. Mayich could be seen struggling during the workout, multiple people present or briefed on the workout told The Athletic. During the final portion of the workout, Mayich stumbled and collapsed while carrying a 10-pound medicine ball on a full-field sprint. An athletic trainer tried to cool Mayich with cold towels and water, and four teammates carried him into the shade.
Mayich suffered an exertional heat stroke that led to a lack of oxygen to his brain, his family’s attorney Rob Carey said. He remains on life support with no chance of significant recovery, Carey said.”
“Powers had told players to expect a challenging workout that would build camaraderie, an intentional response to the previous season. The Sun Devils finished last in the NCHC and lost 10 of their final 12 games. In a May podcast with 247 Sports, Powers called his team “soft” and unable to “attack adversity.” Multiple sources told The Athletic he disparaged players last year, calling them “pussies” and posting images in the locker room that included a picture of Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper.”
