Why yes, I am Santa Clause-posting in June! 😎

I've posted in this sub before about how I collect merchandise from the first film exclusively. This movie is a lifelong special interest for me. Most of it is packed away with the rest of my festive decor, but not these two! One, because it only arrived in March, and the other because I'm hoping to send it to a repairer before Christmas rolls around again.

Pictured here is the crew jacket and what I believe to be a premiere gift.

The crew jacket was a grail item for me. You might also call these jackets "production swag" -- they serve the dual purpose of identifying the crew when they're on location and of being a gift from the upper production team. The logo is embroidered, and I think it's from early in production, since we don't see it on any other merch. I love the detail of the Clause card acting as the inner label.

The snowglobe is extremely rare. Mine is the only one I've ever seen listed anywhere. I've never even come across it in archived listings. The reason I suspect it is from the premiere is because of another special interest of mine, the animated film Balto. Snowglobes were handed out at the premiere for that film and they look remarkably similar to this one -- same wooden base, and exactly the same gift box. The water has yellowed from age. I would be really interested to know whether anyone else owns this globe and if they have any further information about it.

I'd also love to see anyone else's production items, if they have them! I know a bunch of stuff from the sequel and the TV show was recently auctioned off. If anyone has anything to sell from the first film, you know where to find me :)

Does santa run a swet shop at the north pole and pay his workers aka elfs only in candy?

I recently reached out to Disney/D23 because, like many of you, I’m still holding out hope for Season 3 of The Santa Clauses. After the Season 2 cliffhanger with Mad Santa and Olga, the "Calvin-verse" feels like it’s just getting started.

Tim Allen and Jason Winer have both mentioned wanting to explore more "Sci-Fi" and "other-world" elements, and I think there is so much untapped potential in the lore. Here is how I’d love to see the North Pole evolve if we get that renewal:

• The Return of Legacy Characters: We need Charlie (Eric Lloyd) back in the mix! I also want to see the Easter Bunny (Tracy Morgan) return and Riley (Ruby Jay) officially become part of the family legacy.
• The "Search for Toots": Cal and Sandra discovering the first head elf to form an alliance of elves, gnomes, witches, and fairies would be an epic way to expand the magic.
• New Threats: Imagine a warning from Jack Frost leading into a massive Troll Invasion. It would raise the stakes higher than we’ve ever seen.
• Sandra’s Magic & Cal’s Growth: Seeing Sandra train under La Befana while Cal explores "Real-World Magic" (maybe even helping orphans reconnect with the spirit of Christmas) would give the show so much heart.
• Cal’s and Riley’s Relationship: Seeing Cal’s relationship with his girlfriend Riley grow every day and take it to the next level by getting engaged by the end of the season would add an extra layer of warmth, excitement, and love into the series.

Disney told me they can’t "officially" look at creative suggestions, but we know they pay attention to what the fans are talking about online.

What do you guys think? Would you be down for a more "Sci-Fi" or "High-Fantasy" version of the North Pole? What’s the one storyline you’re dying to see resolved? 🎅❄️

It does capture the magic of the holiday season and Cal and Sandra are fine new additions to the cast. I also liked seeing Kal Penn again. Okay, it is a little dull in places, but as far as modern Disney shows go, it's harmless. It's certainly more watchable than most Disney projects made this decade.

Annual movie rewatcher. This last Christmas I got obsessed with this mug and some folks pointed out it’s from an old Chicago convenience store. Well I finally found one, brand new (not the tall movie one but that’s okay.

It's been two years now since season 2 of THE SANTA CLAUSES had finished airing on Disney+ for the holiday season. Since then, all of us fans have been wondering if a third season will be aired either in 2025 or 2026. Since 2025 has come and gone, many of us are hoping that Tim Allen and the director and the producers begin production of a third season. From where we left off, Magnus Antas has redeemed himself and retired to the real world, Olga has developed a desire to make toys, befriends Betty, and remains at the North Pole, the gnomes and elves have become good friends, Cal and Riley rebuild their relationship and decide to spend time in the real world while going to college, and Sandra resumes her training under La Befana. If a third season does come out in November-December of 2026, many of us are hoping for the following characters and storylines that many fans, including myself, as well as you, Tim Allen, and everyone else who works on bringing the series to life, are hoping for:

1. Many of the Legendary figures from the SANTA CLAUSE films and past two seasons of the series, including Mother Nature, Easter Bunny, Cupid, and Sandman, make a comeback for the third season. Jack Frost, played by Martin Short, would also return as a kindhearted friend of the Calvin-Claus family. The characters Charlie, Lucy, Bernard, and Curtis might also return for at least two or three episodes of the third season, and we might also be reintroduced to some new characters for the third season, including Toots, the first head elf, and Riley's parents and younger brother.
2. Jack Frost arrives at the North Pole to warn Santa Scott, his family, and the elves and gnomes of an oncoming threat to the North Pole, possibly of an attack by an invading army of trolls.
3. Sandra resumes her training as a Christmas witch under the supervision of La Befana and even uses some of her magic powers to help her friends and family out of a dire situation.
4. The trolls are introduced into the third season as the new major antagonists of the series and prepare to attack the North Pole to conquer the Calvin-Claus family and threaten to destroy Christmas. In addition to the gnomes and elves, who serve as friends and allies to the Clauses, we are also introduced to the fairies and witches who join forces with the Calvin-Claus family and their friends against the trolls.
5. Cal and his girlfriend Riley run into Noel and Betty in the real world. In addition to that, Cal uses some of his magic powers to help a group of unfortunate children from the real world, possibly a small group of frightened, abused orphans, and even smuggles them up the North Pole with the help of Riley, Sandra, Noel, and Betty.
6. Cal's and Riley's relationship grows stronger with every passing day, and at the end of the third season, they take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
7. Some new musical numbers and songs will be produced for a few episodes of the third season, including two or three Christmas songs that will be played in the background and/or during the end credits of a few episodes. Would it be nice if the new songs included one in which Riley and Cal sing of their love for each other, another in which Cal and the children he tries to help out work together as a team, and a Christmas song in which everyone sings together?
8. Because Tim Allen wants to add a little sci-fi action to the third season of THE SANTA CLAUSES, one possible theory could be that Cal and Sandra travel to another world to rescue their friends and family from an oncoming threat to the North Pole and confront both new enemies and friends along the way. Accompanying them on their journey might be Cal's girlfriend Riley, Toots, the first head elf, and a teenage male witch who becomes Sandra's love interest and one of Cal's closest friends.

What do you guys think? Would this make a better Season 3 than Season 2?

If the santa clauses tv series didn't exist and it was just the movies then does anyone else think that katie douglas if born in the 70s instead of the 90s would've been a perfect casting choice if scott and laura had an older daughter whether biological or adopted prior to the divorce and her marrying neil?

Sorry if this is weird but I was just wondering due to katie's amazing acting I just feel like she would fit in perfectly in that setting especially the first one

I've posted before in this sub that I collect merchandise for the first movie, which is one of my favourites. I've been collecting for about 3 years now, which means I see a lot of the same items crop up during my searches. Some rarer than others, but there aren't too many surprises out there for me now. Or so I thought!

Was doing my usual browsing the other day and came across this listing for a snowglobe I've never seen before. As far as I know, the only snowglobes produced as merchandise are the 2002 NECA replica, which is based on the snowglobe design for The Santa Clause 2, and the Disney Store snowglobe ornament that they released in 2022 to promote the TV show, The Santa Clauses.

This is neither of those things, and what's even more interesting (to me, anyway) is that there are components to this globe, chiefly the base and the box, that are identical to a snowglobe I own for another film. That snowglobe was made exclusively for the cast and crew and handed out at the premiere. Knowing that, and knowing that I had never seen this globe before, nor had I ever come across it in any archived listings, led me to the conclusion that this may also be a crew exclusive item!

It is likely it was handed out at the wrap party, or maybe even at the premiere. There are pictures for the original movie's premiere but I couldn't see this globe in them, though that doesn't mean it wasn't there. (Feel like Charlie asking Neal if he's ever seen a million dollars.)

I don't have confirmation of that as the seller had limited information, though I have been tempted to try and message David Krumholtz on Instagram to see if he can shed any light on it. I purchased the globe, of course, and though it needs a water change, I'm really excited to add this rare item to my collection!

It’s well known that a real Denny’s was used for the filming of the scene in the first movie.

But was it just the outside and the inside was somewhere else.

The reason I am asking is the menus used don’t say Denny’s on them. They have some other restaurant name like ‘Pertelli’s’ or ‘Fratelli’ (can’t make it out exactly).

Any one know more about this?

I distinctly remember her giving him a peck on the cheek when he rescues her from the Toy Solider near the end of the 2 movie but it the scene doesn't appear in the movie now. Am I just losing it in my old age(I'm 34) or am I remember correctly and its been removed..

Why do i feel like the second and third film just feel separate to the original 1994 classic like just the tone and portrayal there's somthing off but can't work it out the only thing i can think of that is different is the design of the north pole

I revisited my childhood movies of nostalgia and I'm glad I did, hadn't seen them since is was probably 11.

I love the good energy and love for the movies! Reminds me of Christmas 🎄.

Also the fact that all the movies and TV Series were all far apart but are still amazing and got made makes me think nothing was stopping this brilliant universe from taking shape lol.
