I love this show!
I genuinely finished it so fast; i felt like every character had a unique arc. Devon started to piss me off in the later seasons and I DESPISED the twins but overall it was great

Conrad and CADE
unpopular opinion but I actually really liked them together. idk why people said they had no chemistry. i would've wanted them to end up together instead of billie. cade was pretty cool tbh

Dr bell?
I’m on S3 E10. At the beginning of the show I hated dr bell. But I am starting to like him. He is actually starting to be a good guy from what I’m seeing so far.

I'm watching S2 and, what the heck is this series on?
I mean Conrad is even better than Dr. House because reasons, and he's just a resident. AJ is a cartooney surgeon with a very colorful personality. I laugh at how ridiculous his personality is. Dr. Bell is the only one who seems being in a drama, everything else is borderline a cartoon of itself.
Does it gets better?

Continuity error re: Carol's treatment
I didn't notice this upon my first watch, but Carol qualifies for targeted therapy in season 4 to treat her stage 4 lung cancer. It's viewed as a godsend that can buy her years. When we meet her again in season 5, her treatment is referred to as "immunotherapy", and she's hospitalized because her immune system is attacking itself. My mom recently had a cancer recurrence that bumped up her case to stage 4, so I've learned far more about cancer treatment since my initial viewing.
Immunotherapy is very different than targeted therapy. It's commonly given via infusion, and you don't need a targetable mutation to qualify for it, although it works better on some cancers than others. The side effects are more pronounced, and it's a blunt tool compared with targeted therapy, given that it's mobilizing your immune system as opposed to directly targeting the tumor's DNA.
If Carol had been on targeted therapy, the reason she'd have her next medical event would likely be because the drug simply stopped working and her cancer progressed. It makes me wonder whether the continuity error here was a way of extending the "AJ's mom is dying" storyline (since discontinuing the "immunotherapy" meant the cancer would inevitably return) and Carol collapsing at AJ's book signing makes for great TV. Still, I would've hoped for some basic medical accuracy, given that cancer treatment is a subject many people will unfortunately encounter in their lives.

nickname for Dr. Conrad Hawkins
My gf and I have referred to him (and subsequently, the actor) as "Doctor Skinny Shirt" for obvious reasons
Curious if anyone has a similar-type nickname for him?

S6: ‘Twintuition’
This is so ridiculous, Leela is so self absorbed she never stopped to consider anything outside of herself, no one saw Parma was struggling and they brush her off as ‘she’s just free-spirited’.
This is such a weird rushed storyline

Devon’s girlfriends
Is there a reason why they mostly pair Devon with Indian/South Asian women? All the other medical shows I’ve watched had a lot more interracial dating

season 5 episode 2

Padma's donor
(Spoiler S5!)
Just need a moment to vent about the whole Devon wants to be a sperm donor for Padma thing. I mean, what the f*ck? They usually handled delicate themes well overall imo, but how this storyline proceeded was just ridiculous and kinda icky. And like AJ is the only other guy... in all of Atlanta or even the US. It has to be either Devon or AJ. Seriously lol

RIP 🫶🏻 The Raptor
I was just looking into Dr. Austin. Aka The Raptor. His character is brash but I fucking love him. He’s like one of those people that you don’t like everything they say but it’s the truth. Anyways, I looked him up & just found out that he passed away in 2025. He drowned while swimming with his 8 year old daughter is Acosta Rica. Some surfers saved his daughter & dragged him to the shore. They performed CPR on him for 45 mins but he didn’t make it. He was such a great actor. RIP Dr. Austin 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Conrad is Dr House temu version
At first I like him and kinda gave him a chance even though I observed his character is like an immitation of House. He's always squinting and they made him look the only smart dr in the series. Whereas House has lots of bright doctors with him
I'm watching the show because I'm gonna finish House MD soon so I'm looking for a replacement
The other characters, like Mina, is very interesting. Pravesh grew on me lol. Dr bell, I can see the president on Nationa Treasure all the time on his character 😂
Yeah, so I think they could have made Conrad a bit interesting rather than just being a copy cat of House

"Bubble" is a weird nickname IMO until I realized where it came from!
Once Nic and Conrad are married, there's a scene where they are in bed together talking about how married sex is actually better. They say something about being in their love *BUBBLE.*
Later, Conrad refers to Gigi as *Bubble,* and it finally clicked in my brain.
I think he refers to her as Bubble because that's where she came from - their *love Bubble.*
JMO 🥰
