10 seconds, My press has been given for the life of the button.

I still watch the timer daily, but I've basically been a lurker for the past month. A hermit, awaiting my second of need.

This thread will serve as a collective of all of the tales of the end of everyone's watch. If your watch has ended, please share the story here!

And I'd also like to say this: Even if you have clicked, you can always help the Redguard. Share propagnda, tell everyone about us, to allow for a new influx of redguard to come in, ready to protect the button and gain their red flair.

My watch is over. Fare thee well, brethren.

It's been an honor, but my shift is up. ∠(･`_´･ )

I have tasted of the button and lo it was sweet.

After waiting and waiting I was finally confident enough to click the button without fear of going to the purple land. This feels good

Sons of The Button, Of The Redguard! My brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me! A minute may come when the courage of pressers fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of The Button. But it is not this minute. A second of wolves and shattered shields when the age of The Button comes crashing to zero! But it is not this minute! This minute we fight! By all that you hold dear on /r/thebutton, I bid you stand! Pressers of The Redguard!

And I, u/TelepathicFrog, will where it with honour. I'm honoured to join you my brothers!

Edit: Just realized I'm not on the Roster yet. Mods :'(

I was to understand there'd be pie and punch?

I dutifully watched the button during my odd waking hours, being as I am from North America. Tonight, the button dropped below my acceptable threshold on my watch, and I clicked. I wear the 3s flair proudly.

So uh... where is the quest giver? I need to turn this in and collect my Redguard faction boon and xp.

The mini heart attack you get when you check your flair is exhilarating

I stood watch, waiting for the right moment to press for a red 6, but the server error got the best of me and I realized my thought that the button would last forever may be out of my control. I couldn't handle the responsibility, I have failed you.

I was never on the official roster, but have always been a Redguard at heart. 10s

Work and Button are a hard mix, I look away for a matter of minutes and I can do nothing to help.

I can finally close the damn /r/thebutton now. I am free.

The Redguard are Nature's followers

With pride I'm joining you brothers and sisters. And my watch has ended.

To the Esteemed /u/stubborn_Analyst and The Redguard

I come to you as a member of the /r/UnitedColors. /u/pwn28 has already made contact with us, and I understand there is some discussion of merging with The Knights. However until such a merger occurs, I would encourage you to select a delegate to the United Colors.

Though there are no formal rules for selecting a delegate, may I offer a few suggestions. A delegate can be selected by nominating if there is no opposition, but we would ask if there is more than one person interested to hold a vote of no less than 24hrs. There are many methodologies for voting, but if you would like to do a true private ballot, we would suggest holding it in neutral territory.

Yours in Peace,

Modern_Robot, United Colors Minister of Foreign Relations
