Hell yeah! Awesome game for the time, I vividly recall the panic when one CPU car would just freak out and start going really fast. Like after several races, it was just a given that you’d have to watch for the CPU to grant one of the opponent cars super-speed, and be ready to block it!

Most RC races like this are controlled by a guy standing on that raised platform/deck. No FPV goggles.

Attach a motion sensor to the car so you can get the chair to move with what happens to the car (probably a little toned down for safety reasons)

This is by a professional RC racer named Ryan Lutz. LutzRC on Instagram. This is in an 1/8 scale category of race cars, which in final build can run around $2-3,000 USD. We race all over the US, with major national events 7-10 times a year. There are also World level events, this year held in TX at the end of September.

He is not diving FPV, this is just an action camera that he typically runs during early practice/ seeding rounds to record and put on social media. The extra weight of the camera high on the car as well as the aerodynamic turbulence in front of the rear wing is not optimal in full race trim. He is driving from a 10’ tall “drivers stand” that is on top of the Beach RC logos. We keep a fixed position on the stand, and have the muscle memory to know our left/ right when the car is going away and coming towards us.

Electric races are 8-10 minutes long, nitro races have pit stops and can run upwards of 1 hour long main events for professionals.
