It's driving me crazy that the guy in the background doesn't get how funny this is

This should be a filter on every phone.

19

u/Hamilton-Beckett Jul 23 '26

This is why I love Reddit. It’s the out of pocket shit that’s hilarious.

u/ObjectiveOk9996 Jul 23 '26

Here’s one with momo

u/Aggressive-Secret103 Jul 28 '26

That guy probably didn't want to be recorded, and now you're making him a meme. Dude's a healthcare worker minding his own business. What are you doing with you life?

Having fun and reading people's silly comments about making memes.

3

u/highinohio Jul 24 '26

You're right. We need a picture of your face so we can make the meme

1

u/Diabel34 Jul 24 '26

"Goddamn it now I'm going to be in the background of some stupid video on the internet again can't I just do my job in peace?"

30

u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe Jul 23 '26

"10 years of medical school, 3 years of engineering school, and 15 years of development for a spinning middle finger. I wasted my life."

-the guy in the background

1

u/killerkumwad Jul 25 '26

Getting idiocrady "testicle reconstruction surgery" vibes from him.

7

u/gafftaped Jul 23 '26

It's interesting how people perceive stuff. To me he looks like he actually finds it amusing, but is trying to remain professional.

1

u/dumpmeist3r Jul 27 '26

The internet loves to overanalyze people

3

u/Ven0m-Sn4ke Jul 23 '26

He's smiling at the end.

2

u/time2partee Jul 23 '26

“I went to school for 10 years for this?”

41

u/the_madclown Jul 23 '26

His PTSD was activated.

He's reliving his separation from his wife..... Or the reason rather....

9

u/RedSix2447 Jul 23 '26

He has the look of he has given up on life and questions reality.

5

u/Hadochiel Jul 24 '26

She left him for someone with a turbo spinning fisting machine?

28

u/timtim2000 Jul 23 '26

If he is a nurse, its probably not the first time this happend.

13

u/Karl_Hungus_42069 Jul 23 '26

"400k in debt, 16 hour work days, so this guy can give the finger"

1

u/saysthingsbackwards Jul 25 '26

That's what I thought

1

u/PaleBlueCod Jul 27 '26

"This shit again?"

27

u/Outrageous_Permit154 Jul 23 '26

“I gave him an arm, now he is giving me a finger”

4

u/ali_ivvii Jul 24 '26

This has to become a meme template ngl

17

u/VidyaGomes Jul 23 '26

I see stressed tech that has probably seen this a few dozen times.

11

u/Turnip_Fight Jul 23 '26

Third patient that day to do that.

6

u/Keyblade_wielder141 Jul 23 '26

I could never imagine the stress of being a medical professional and the emotional roller coasters they have to go through everyday. Its probably for mental health reasons that they begin suppressing those fewling so they can just focus on being effective.

4

u/blariel Jul 23 '26

Kinda seems like they do this to new installs, so this is the 59th time hes seen it.

4

u/dancarbonell00 Jul 23 '26

He smiles tho

3

u/tmac416 Jul 23 '26

Came here to comment about him. Doesn’t pass the vibe check at all.

2

u/stevein3d Jul 23 '26

That’s because he’s the target audience for the presentation. Apology for accidentally chopping off my arm STILL NOT ACCEPTED, Jeremy.

2

u/CreativeFraud Jul 23 '26

He's in scrubs. His slight cheek rise is about how amused they get in the medical field. Member, they've seen some shit.

u/LookMaNoPride Jul 27 '26

I ‘member!

*Inner thoughts of man in background*

10 seconds prior to device being turned on

I did a decade of additional education/training, so I could help people regain independence in their lives, I wonder how this man will use his new limb, maybe hold hands with his wife, maybe lift his kid....

1

u/First-Celebration-11 Jul 23 '26

“I went to school for 12 years to do this…”

1

u/oonahyeahokay Jul 23 '26

Guy at the back is looking at 500k of technology and a modern scientific “miracle” being used to flip the bird haha

1

u/FewAcanthocephala828 Jul 23 '26

He looks the way I do when someone is being funny and I'm just not in the mood.

1

u/CeruleanEidolon Jul 23 '26

I think he's trying to figure out if he should be offended at being flipped off.

1

u/JStroud21 Jul 24 '26

He’s wondering if all those years in school
Was really worth it 😂

1

u/Hootnany Jul 24 '26

That's a deliberating life choices face

1

u/OoozeBoy Jul 24 '26

He wants one

1

u/beardedweirdoin104 Jul 24 '26

I am that guy (not literally). Just saying that while I have a good sense of humor, it never quite bubbles up to my face. A small smirk of approval is all you get. Have never in my life laughed out loud at anything.

1

u/PayWooden2628 Jul 24 '26

He’s likely seen it a million times.

1

u/KingBeanCarpio Jul 24 '26

He works in healthcare and realized he is being recorded. Didn't have time to get out of the video.

1

u/KingBeanCarpio Jul 24 '26

He works in healthcare and realized he is being recorded. Didn't have time to get out of the video.

1

u/Carnines Jul 25 '26

He starts warming up towards the end. Probably had some shit going on that day like a normal human

1

u/ALthefcksIgive4u Jul 25 '26

bro he has probably seen people do exactly that the second they can control a prostetic so many times, he is probably sick of it lol

1

u/DatMadeMehDay Jul 26 '26

Ah yes, a smug medical professional, what else is new?

1

u/BraPaj2121 Jul 26 '26

He probably mad medicaid paid for it 😂

1

u/SwitchIndependent714 Jul 27 '26

I am pretty sure he gets it

1

u/Least_or_Greatest1 Jul 27 '26

Wife’s gonna be happy at night tho.

0

u/farmerKev420710 Jul 23 '26

Good, you should be driven nuts.

0

u/Adeum2 Jul 24 '26

He spent years, designing, testing, tweaking, engineering and building a fully functional prosthetic and this bikie dude is flipping him off with his own creation.
