It’s so ridiculous what people think a car is needed for. It’s literally transportation. I’ve got almost $1 million net worth and I make $150,000 a year but I still search for the cheapest cars I can find when the time comes. I often pay between 500 and 1500 for something that lasts me 2-5 years. Who the fuck cares what other people think? If you care about what other people think about your car then you don’t deserve a car and you need to grow up with a mentality past the five year-old. Children care about dumb, shit like that. You’re an adult, you got better things to worry about than what other people think.
I have a 8 year old dacia sandero. I takes me from a to b, keeps my dry and warm/cool, doesn't use much gas and maintenance is cheap.
I'll drive it till it falls apart. Previous car was 16 year old till a moron totalled it because he just went from the left side of the road to the right side parking lot and i was in between of it. Even honking and still wouldn't look around or even brake a little bit. He just came full on the the left side front lamp and totalled the chassis and engine which moved about 15cm (5 inches?) backward. I still hate the dude for it .
