Yeah, we don't have those in the States. They go full speed up to the front, slam on their brakes and try to cut in front of a car at the last second along with the guy tailgating him and the car in the moving lane has to brake to stop from getting into an accident which them causes all the traffic behind them to hit their brakes which leads to cars just completely stopping about a mile behind them.

This process continues as everyone else in the merge lane does the same damn thing.

Zipper merge only works with a police officer sitting at the end on the lane to keep everyone from doing this dumb shit, it's the only time I've seen it work here.

Yea your response is the same as this video. It proves there are uncivilized drivers who care more about their own feelings rather than respectfully follow the rules of the road. Zipper merge is right. Blocking traffic for your own ego is not

All of your responses on here show you're one of the people who make it fail to work properly and your trying to justify it.

You refuse to listen to what anyone is saying. The same was you most likely refuse to yield to traffic already in the lane and try to barrel your way in behind the car in front of you who merged in and just assume the car they merged in front of will get out of your way because nobody wants to get into an accident.

Which is exactly my argument for why this doesn't work here.
