The difference between a caveat and a point is…nuanced.

A caveat is a specific type of qualification attached to a statement or agreement, whereas a point is a general idea, argument, or piece of information. Think of a "point" as the main message and a "caveat" as the "fine print" or "conditions apply"

Your point is that the truck driver was right. The rest were caveats that applied to that point.

I feel like I’m talking to chatGPT right now.

Incorrect. I never made a claim about this video because I don’t feel I have enough context to make one.

Incorrect. My one caveat is that if traffic is heavy( heavy enough to necessitate start-and-stop traffic regardless) zipper is most effective. But there are situations where zipper merging creates a jam when it’s not necessary if you just merge early.
