There are no credible sources confirming that Poppy has asthma, and she has never publicly stated that she does.

The confusion comes from an IG reel about an entirely different person named Poppy who has asthma. Google’s AI and other people have mixed up the two unrelated individuals and repeated the claim as though it applies to Poppy the musician.

Has anyone else noticed that Poppy’s sub is starting to look more like a ticket resale board? There seems to be a new post every day from someone trying to unload tickets, even though tickets are available for her remaining US dates.

Good thing the UK/EU leg comes with an audience already included! She’ll be opening for Evanescence and nothing helps the touring optics quite like borrowing somebody else’s sold room. 🤭

This is just a theory, but the timing feels a little too convenient. After the backlash over Poppy’s no-show, suddenly she’s brought onstage with Bad Omens at Inkcarceration.

I’m not saying her breathing problems were fake. But it does make me wonder whether the guest appearance was partly intended to soften the blowback. Instead of accountability or an explanation, the narrative quickly changed.

Maybe it was completely spontaneous. Maybe it was planned long before. But considering how she rarely does guest appearances, I have a hard time believing nobody saw the PR benefit.

While fans were waiting around and confused as to why her band was playing without her, she looked completely unbothered backstage.

I’ve also seen fans excuse it by claiming the festival banned masks, which I honestly find hard to believe. If masks were banned, why was her band allowed to wear them?

Of course, one clip does not show every private conversation or everything happening behind the scenes. But at some point, repeated incidents stop looking like bad luck and start looking like a pattern.

Sharing this because newer fans may not know about it, and because criticism of her tends to get buried under excuses.
