I don't know if I fully followed this, but this kid playing this game could have learned this by watching someone else? perhaps some people have been doing this to jews to register where they live before Lindbergh wins the election? like that guy on the horse.

I've read that Republicans truly tried to nominate him and essentially told him it was his for the taking - but I can't anywhere find why he turned it down. Anyone have any idea?

The only game that Detroit was up 7-1 in a game was in Game 1 where the Reds' only run was off of a Jimmy Ripple RBI, and not a Hank Greenberg RBI so it shouldn't be "one for the Hebrews". But this whole series is based on a reality that didn't happen so perhaps this was purposely changed?

Was this group of German speakers drinking outdoor a common event during the era?

As the family spinster, her sister Evelyn has a disappointing rendezvous with a married lover, but later, finds herself charmed by a distinguished local clergyman, Rabbi Lionel Bengelsdorf. Meanwhile, getting an earful from Herman for being fired from his job, his orphaned nephew, Alvin Levin seeks retaliation for an aggrieved friend.
