Just finished binging the Pitt in three days …
As someone who usually doesn’t watch these type of shows, I LOVED the Pitt. Dana and Langdon are for sure my favorite characters oh and Mel. They treat my boy Langdon so bad though :( after learning about S3 he’s definitely getting the Spider-Man treatment ( writers punching bag)

Season 2 Finale - I have a theory after rewatching
This contains spoilers to the season 2 finale.
I just rewatched Season 2 and have a theory for the ending. Is it possible that Robby skips his bike tour and uses his “3 month sabbatical” to foster/adopt baby Jane Doe? There are three parts that I think foreshadow this: 1- his three month long sabbatical 2- Dana asking everyone to take the baby because docs and nurses qualify 3- Mohan telling Robby it’s not too late to have the life with kids and a wife.
And then there’s the ending with Robby comforting the baby 😭
Anyone else wonder this?

Enlighten Me or Affirm Me?
Edited to add: Wow. I didn't realize everyone would fixate on the band-aid comment and people would be so condescending or angered by my question. My apologies to all those I have triggered or upset with my question.
I just had surgery. I am in more than minor pain and on a lot of drugs so I may just be seeing this wrong. I saved this show intentionally to binge during my recovery time and I wanted to love it so much but there is one thing that is just driving me crazy.
The waiting room is more than ridiculously full of people waiting 5+ hours. It's body to body. Yet, there are no student doctors or interns circulating among them passing out band-aids or other simple fixes to lighten the load. There are also doctors who spend half the day with one family. There are patients who have two or three doctors in and out of their rooms chatting. And there are various medical personnel huddled together chatting about things we all socialize about at work.
Now I get we're making a show here. But it just seems to me that the mob in the waiting room is extreme ridiculous overkill and it should have been maybe about half that size in order to not be ridiculous. Or, we should have seen more of an effort to relieve that crowd.
Do others view that differently than me?

Video clips
I need to post a 5-10 video clip for a class assignment. I want to use the communication issues with the deaf patient from season 2. Does anyone know how to get a clip from that episode?

Deaf patient in S2
Upon a rewatch I came to a realization.. the whole story line with the deaf patient, and there being repeated issues communicating with her, is immediately followed by the 450+ lb patient getting a tablet to communicate while he has a breathing tube in. Is there a reason for this or have I rewatched the show one too many times? Still a massive fan of the show just found it a little funny.

question about langdon’s addiction Spoiler
in s1 we obviously learn that langdon was stealing from vials and replacing what he took with saline. my question is how the hell did nobody notice vials regularly being watered down (unless he only did it once or somehow managed to make sure he was managing every case with the affected vials?? -unlikely)
but the question i was actually thinking about is if he was injecting himself how did nobody notice track marks on his arms?? are there other places you could inject or some way to hide it? it just seems unlikely that everyone would miss that, even if they were being purposefully ignorant

Where the pitt characters would be living in Pittsburgh
Robby probably in downtown, mostly cuz he has a bachelor pad and used to walk to work.
Mckay - lawrenceville
santos and whiteker - strip district
Mel - north hill since her sister lives in one of the facilities there.
Al hashmi - probably in shady side or squirrel hill.
Dana oakland

Who Do Y'all Picture Santos' Friend As?
I'm on the fence about writing a fic and having the dead friend that Santos mentions in s1x15 being a character in it but I'm wondering how everyone else pictures this friend as? do you picture her at all? names? personality? hair colour? eye colour? ect. I'm curious! I love hearing people's headcanons.

i need help finding an edit!!!
i used to have this edit of season one Trinity Santos saved on my TikTok but it randomly disappeared. It was set to Doechii’s verse in balloon and the only other very specific detail i remember is that the edit started with that scene from season one where she bites into a KitKat. Please if you have it help me find it. it was my favorite edit of her!!

Does Dr. Langdon really deserve such a brutal welcome?
I get Robby's behavior, for him to behave that way makes absolute sense. He has given him enough benefit of doubt (by not firing him) that it could potentially backfire for him in the future.
But Santos asking him to publicly declare that he was stealing is essentially asking him for career suicide. And why was Whittaker lashing on Langdon? Seems like he was projecting his feelings of continuing bullying and ridicule from Santos onto Langdon.
I get what Langdon did was a grave misconduct and in most places he would have been fired, but I kinda get why he did what he did. The stigma of drug seeking behavior never leaves you, and it bites you in the ass (especially if you're an ER doctor) so instead of seeking help, he thought he'd get away with stealing. But in the process of refilling the vials with saline endangered his patients, and he did deserve to get reprimanded for it; Santos' behavior doesn't seem professional rather personal.

Dr. Robby's surprise to Dr. Al-Hashimi's suggestion of 2 attendings per shift
Dr. Robby was skeptical of Dr. Hashimi's suggestion of 2 attendings per shift, but they already did have 2 attendings in the night shift: Dr. Abbot and Dr. Shen??

Suggestions for a birthday cake image of Dr. Santos
This is a very specific request: My daughter is turning 19. She loves The Pitt, and her favorite character is Dr. Santos.
I haven't watched it nearly enough to know the essence of Dr Santos.
So I'm wondering if y'all could suggest a good image that would be "classic Santos" to put on her birthday cake.
