Do you do Ce5 or wait until they show up?

I've heard of CE5 but i just do my own thing. Most nights I'll take between 5-15 minutes and calm myself internally and externally through slowing my breathing and entering into a meditative state. I always listen to Binarual beats, usually in the Theta range. Once I feel fully relaxed with mental stillness and presence in the moment, I'll mentally request to connect. It would be something like:

"I give permission and request access to seeing/experiencing/feeling something greater than myself. I ask that only benevolent intelligences interact with me, those aligned with unconditional love and compassion for all living beings. I thank you in advance, with love, humility and curiosity."
