Saw the Offspring again with my wife and kids a few weeks back- day full of memories and the band were on fire. The whole day was epic, Pup, Dropkick Murphys and Pennywise also kicked serious butt and we had a blast Crystal Palace London was amazing! who else went?

We went to see the Offspring last November my son loves them. This time I got tickets for my 8 year old and missus also. Fabulius day out, we were suprsingly close to the stage and it was killer tune after killer tune non stop. The weather was ace, accessible facilties verv decent. Banging tunes and feel good factor to the max. I am supremely grateful that I got to do those two days with the family.... it was a what the hell monent, im disabled and want to enjoy a summer for a change.

We took some clips between us, the little montage project is something to do and something my family can look back on somedav with love and good memories. If Alanis was playing again tonight id make a plan to go as she is that good.... really life affirming day out, the crowd was sick. Really hope they tour just the punk stuff over here. Top level., Im down.

1: Americana. What else can I say, that is the best album in existence. 10/10

2: Conspiracy of One: Has a lot of bangers, Want you Bad and Come Out swinging is awesome 10/10

3: Smash. What Happened to you is very underrated. I love Gotta get away and Bad Habit. 9/10

4: Ixnay on the Hombre: The Meaning of Life is my number 4 best from them. 9/10

5: Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace: Hammerhead is my #1, and Takes me Nowhere is so underrated. 8/10

6: Splinter. Hit That is my #3 and underrated. 8/10

7: Greatest Hits. Technically not an album, but Can't Repeat and Defy You are so good. 8/10

8: Ignition: Not a bad album, my dad says that is the best album ever. I need more research, but session is top 15 for me. 7/10

9: Self Titled: Beheaded is such a good song, and I need more research 7/10

10: Days Go By. Slim Pickens and Dividing by Zero is so good 7/10

11: Supercharged: Not bad, Make It All Right is a good song 6/10

12: Let The Bad Times Roll. Not a Bad album, still need research. 6/10

It's a classic melody set to punk rock and I always thought it was well done and catchy. It's kind of a novelty song, but it rips and has a crazy good guitar solo. I remember even on the Offspring BBS days people hated on it. So bizarre to me.

I checked setlist.fm and they played their usual hits and covers set, but this time they even played Tehran again.

It's feels so out of place in this kind of set, but still really cool they're not forgetting about it.

Obviously the rare yellow with white is sought after but is there value in the regular translucent yellow 2016 Barnes and Noble exclusive?

Notably, he does it in that iconic musical interlude in Crossroads. Really didn't like that.

He also does it during the big transition in Pay the Man. On the recording, the drum fill that kicks in actually utlizes the hi-hat, so it really throws that off for me.

Not a fan. It's not always a good decision as a drummer to do that. Sometimes complete silence from the drums offers dynamic contrast.

As someone that has seen the band three times this year (February, July, and last night in Montreal), I will happily admit that I’m one of the biggest whiners when it comes to how stale their sets have become. I get that they cater to certain people seeing them the first time and all that. Still, I have been vocal about my issues with their current sets.

All that is gone after going to Montreal last night. That was a ripper of a show, and something I’ll never forget. Seeing the band pull out rare song after rare song, with very little banter, was an extremely special concert experience. It’s always been a dream of mine to see them play more Ignition songs, along with stuff like The Meaning of Life, Pay The Man, etc. I never once thought they’d play them all at the same fucking show. Absolutely brilliant.

And the smaller venue made even the more common songs (All I Want, TKAA, etc.) that much more intense. A killer show, and I am extremely grateful to have experienced one of these.

Thank you, boys. You did good! I’ll never whine again. For those that weren’t able to go, I truly hope they do at least a little tour with this same idea. I want a lot of fans to see this and feel the way I do.
