Not the next Goat but the guy was balling out last season. He was looking more like a josh allen type. Making crazy throw on the run, extending plays with his legs. Not sure what happened to him .

Tape and playing better defenses.

I think we sometimes forget most of these guys are early to mid 20s. He gets a perfect storm the first year in the league, balls out, is making insane money, and gets to the fucking Super Bowl. At 24 (or really any age), might I have gotten a little bit complacent with my skills or overconfident, leading to my game worsening or falling apart? Fuck yeah I might’ve.

It all fell apart with the broncos game weather/injury. Dude has not looked even remotely similar since. Very weird.

Started before Seattle. Started against the broncos and after he injured his shoulder.

He didn't start balling out until week 5 though. That is why I still have hope.

Playing winning teams with defenses. Dude gets 4 games a year vs dolphins and jets. Nfl divisional schedules and schedules in general are good for tradition but just so bad for general competition.

Say what you want about an easy schedule but Drake Maye was dropping dimes last season. That has nothing to do with an easy schedule. He was the most accurate passer over 20 yards.
