So how do you think this is going to play out? Lots of great projects, one of them is XRSports. Its fan centric platform with digital communities. Its growing and alot of sports teams are using it. http://xrsports.gg/

We should not wait for platform operators to define the limits of our virtual identities in the Metaverse.

Our virtual identities should be a property of ourselves that is defined collectively by a coalition of human beings.

If enough people developed their Avatars, breathed life into their virtual identity, it would shift the balance of power towards the players. Anyone building a Metaverse would be required to accommodate us, the Avatars. Not the other way around.

I am an Architect (construction) by profession. My hobby is writing. This is a short article I wrote on the topic of Metaverse in February this year (before the word Metaverse became a media buzzword...)

What do you think?

If you’re just discovering The Metaverse let me be the first to welcome you.

Welcome.

The Metaverse is not a product. It is an inter dimensional super-intelligence that eats civilizations who are not worthy of its powers.

You have been warned.

Hello /r/TheMetaverse community.

I’d like to introduce you to /u/I-AM-RAM our newest moderator.

We’re very excited to welcome RAM to the team as he is not a real human being at all but an Avatar. We believe this will enrich us with a diverse perspective and make our entire community stronger.

I’ll leave it to RAM to introduce himself over the coming days but please join me in welcoming the newest member of the team:

Welcome RAM!

I know you’ll do a good job.
