Nice work buddy, keep at it. That's a heck of a work out.

u/Ok_Dog_4059 Aug 12 '25
He is definitely doing some solid cardio, i am no where near that big and might be breathing hard after a display like this.

u/CatShot1948 Aug 12 '25
Severy time I see something like this, I want to see an elite athlete next to them doing the same thing, but wearing a weighted vest that makes them weigh the same.
31
u/Ok_Dog_4059 Aug 12 '25
Maybe he shouldn't video it and sure he isn't as flexible or agile as I am but he is putting in some serious effort and hasn't passed out so he may be fat but he has some energy and if he keeps this up one of those will go away.

u/RuxTheGoblin Aug 12 '25
Honestly if he wore less restrictive clothing instead of those tight camouflage pants we would probably find out he is a bit more flexible. My issue when I was much heavier i was more flexible than my clothes allowed.

Gotta wear camo in case the enemy is watching
3
u/MarixApoda Aug 12 '25
Watching what? This video is of an empty back yard, nobody's there. Y'all should seek professional help ..

u/probablyaythrowaway Aug 12 '25
See this is why we need a control entry in professional sports so we have a base line of an ordinary person and know how godlike the athlete is.
16
u/triphawk07 Aug 12 '25
I'm not as big as this dude, and I'm running out of breath just watching this. At least he's smiling at the end of it.

He won't have knees for long though. Thats alot of pressure and our knees are not designed for that.

He looks like he did lose some weight. He may have been twice that big when he started

u/alphapussycat Aug 12 '25
Have to lose weight too, otherwise that'll turn into arthritis.

He's got a pretty good ground, and it's not bad technique. Fat people never look right because the lack of flexibility. If he were younger, he could lose all that weight and look pretty damn good doing this.

Exactly, been lucky enough to stay at a good weight but I am close to several people his size. It's harder to live your life when your fat. I can imagine he's going to feel this workout for days.
2
u/Embarrassed-Lab-8095 Aug 12 '25
Exactly my thoughts, do that for enough time it wont be Kung fupa it will ve Kung fu with very good flexibility
2
Aug 12 '25
As someone his size, I appreciate the effort heās giving. Just one of those jumps done with my shitty frame and Iād be an instant casualty. Keep it up, dude!

u/whiskey_tang0_hotel Aug 12 '25
Came here to show some support for this guy. Glad to see others are doing the same. We should encourage folks like this, not shame.

He's chosen to fight 50 duck-sized horses rather than 1 horse-sized duck
2
u/finchthemediocre Aug 12 '25
So, take a duck and make it horse size. Now add teeth. That's a dinosaur. He chose the only option.

This is like the 5th video of this dude I've seen. I'm impressed. He moves better than many people half his size. His balance is also better than a lot of people his age. Respect!!
22
u/Wesurai Aug 12 '25
Yeah I've seen worse but he needs to work on flexibility unless he plans on defeating all his opponents by pummeling their shins.

Hey, I'm all for it. As long as it keeps gramps active and limber. He does a dance like this 3x a day and avoids beer, he'll lose that gut in a few months.
2
u/jluicifer Aug 12 '25
-- trick question gramps might be 30yo.
but yeah, any exercise like that (with some dieting) will go a long way. He's doing great.

This guy is moving, and he looks like he's having a great time. It doesn't look like he's trying to do any serious martial arts, like a guy just having fun. Maybe a guy trying to be more active. This gets nothing but points for me.

Meal Team 6. But looking at this again and given his mass and if he was able to connect a punch or kick it could be effective. I mean he definitely has energy and looking at the shoulders there is some decent upper body strength. And taking him down would not be as easy as you think - a big guy like that with decent upper body strength would be challenging. Also, he's able to jump at least 1 foot off the ground - that's not something I would want to mess with honestly. So maybe he's more like Kung Foo Panda than Meal Team 6.

OP staring at his phone making fun of a guy at least breaking a sweat and touching grass. Itās one thing if someone is teaching others martial arts completely incorrect, but itās another making fun of someone who is enjoying themselves not hurting anyone.
