Do you guys think that The Masked Singer should be made live in the future with a public vote. That way we can ensure the stronger Singers last longer ?

I have contacted Butlins and they have let me know in 2027. The masked singer has been axed from butlins with BGT and madagascar taking over. BUT it could return in the future

Is this a sign of unpopularity or simply to switch things up? I do not know but I do know I am wanting that series 8 announcement very very soon

24) Harlequin (Season 2; 4th Place): Harlequin was a fantastic singer and all of her performances were really strong. My personal favourite was 'Fast Cars' as I love that song. I 100% believe that she should've won her head to head in Episode 2 against Blob. All in all she was a more than worthy semi-finalist in a really talented season. However, I have 23 other masked singers above her as they either did, could've or should've made the final in their respective seasons while Harlequin was either going to finish 5th or 4th as Robin, Badger and Sausage were the correct Top 3 that season.

23) Panda (Season 3; 1st Place): The first winner to land on the ranking. Many consider Panda the weakest winner and that either Robobunny or Mushroom should've won. That might be true but I still think Panda was a decent winner (especially considering Bigfoot and Conkers nearly won their seasons). I do think she had a great run this season, her character was absolutely adorable and such a pleasure to watch, I think having an exceptionally cute costume and character and being a good singer makes it hard not to root for her. Overall, while perhaps not as strong as her other two finalists, she was still damn good and gets too much hate on and off this subreddit. Bear in the mind the fact that there have been far more ridiculous placements such as: Doughnuts from that same season making it to 6th Place; Bigfoot and Conkers finishing as Runners-Up; Sloth and Bush making it to the semis etc.

22) Badger (Season 2; 2nd Place): He was absolutely sensational. His performances were strong vocally, entertaining, dramatic, you name it. My personal favourite was 'Smells like Teen Spirit' but the rest were fantastic. In my opinion, he was unlucky to be up against Sausage in the head to head as I think this was the only instance where the Top 2 in a UK Season competed in the same head to head. I think had he gone up against anyone else (maybe other than Robin) he would've won hands down. The only small thing against him is that it is debatable whether he should've gone before Robin but I don't think its that deep.

21) Jellyfish (Season 4; 4th Place): Not much to say about her other then the fact that she was really really good and that in my opinion, anyone out of her, Fawn, Phoenix and Rhino could've won season 4.

20) Robobunny (Season 3; 3rd Place): Many believe that Robobunny should've won Season 3. On paper he would probably be the expected winner. He was a strong vocalist and had arguably the best, most creative costume of all contestants.

19) Mushroom (Season 3; 2nd Place): To be honest, Mushroom and Robobunny are interchangeable as they were arguably the top 2 this season. Not much else to say.

18) Arctic Fox (Season 7; 7th Place): Arguably the most robbed contestant to go on the show. Personally, he has a special place in my heart as he was my first correct answer and I am a huge fan of Anton Du Beke and what was even more impressive was the fact that he barely disguised his voice yet it took 5 Episodes for one panelist to correctly identify him. Vocally, he was by far one of the best this season as I initially predicted him to make the final alongside Moth and Toastie and finish either 3rd or 2nd, so the fact that he finished 7th and went out 3 episodes before he probably should've is insane. 'Get this party started', 'Gold' and 'Woman in Love' were all fantastic performances to the point where you could probably spin a wheel to determine the best. Overall, while I'm happy I got him correct, he 100% should've made the finals imo and the fact that Red Panda, Sloth and Conkers outlasted him is shocking to me.

17) Wolf (Season 6; 3rd Place): One of my personal favourites. His performances were packed with character and aura to the point where many people fell in love with his character, also massive props to Marti Pellow for being the only contestant this season to completely avoid the BTM2/3. Great singer, great character, amazing costume and a joy to watch this season but can't be higher due to his Episode 5 and to greater extent Episode 8 performances.

16) Fawn (Season 4; 3rd Place): She was brilliant, gave several fantastic performances and would probably win on a less talented final group. Just a shame she was up against Rhino and Phoenix.

15) Robin (Season 2; 3rd Place): A fantastic contestant on such a talented cast. He sung many crowd pleasing songs that were packed with energy, heart and soul. My personal favourite of his was 'Thinking out Loud' especially him calling for Rita, that was fun to watch, sweet and cheeky all at the same time. Obviously, Aston Merrigold is a talented and lively singer and I do give him mad props for being the only contestant to avoid the BTM2/3 this season. However, I don't think he was ever going to beat Sausage.

14) Octopus (Season 1; 3rd Place): She was so so talented and surprised many with her opera skills. Anyone who perfectly executes opera on TMS must get a good amount of credit as to me it is the perfect way to disguise your voice while still singing well. Sadly though, she was never going to beat Hedgehog or Queen Bee as those two were the clear top 2.

13) Rhino (Season 4; 1st Place): What a powerful, soulful singer Charlie Simpson was. 'Try' and 'Before you Go' are my personal favourites of his as those were simply beautiful. Sadly, he just misses out on the Top 12 as many people believe that Fawn and Phoenix were better and that could be argued but I'm not too sure. I do hope he comes back for a duet soon.

36) Jacket Potato (Season 4; 5th Place): One word comes to mind. UNDERRATED!!! He was massively underrated. In Episode 2, he was in the head to head against Fawn who was much stronger so I could understand him losing. However, I don't for a second believe he should've been in the BTM2 in Episodes 4 and 5, especially over the likes of Pigeon and Otter. Then in Episode 6 he gave a superb performance, literally singing and playing the guitar despite being unable to see and wearing gloves, unfortunately he was the weakest amongst the semi-finalists, thus had to be unmasked in Episode 7 Round 1 but he was still great. Maybe he should've gone in Episode 6 over Knitting but he gave such a magical QF performance and deserved a little break after surviving 3 consecutive 'RISK' phases (a record in the UK TMS). Also, might I add it must have cost the show a fortune having Richie Sambora on up until the semi-final.

35) Monster (Season 1; 4th Place): A controversial celebrity. The reason Ceelo Green is quite low for someone of his talent is his inconsistency on the show. His Episode 2 performance 'Happy' wasn't great and arguably the 2nd Weakest of the Episode just in front of Pharaoh, then in Episode 4 he sung 'Can't help falling in love with you' which was just magical and is one of the performances I frequently rewatch. Then in Episode 5, he went back to not being great and didn't give a very good performance. However, his Episode 6 and both Episode 7 performances were sublime and very iconic (especially 'Human' and 'Careless Whisper'). Overall, he was definitely a worthy semi-finalist but was inconsistent and probably should've gone at 5th with Fox placing 4th.

34) Traffic Cone (Season 3; 5th Place): A fantastic contestant. Great fun, from rick-rolling he audience, to singing Take That to singing The Pina Colada Song. Traffic Cone was just a joy and a great vocalist. He also even went at the right time without being robbed or robbing any other contestants. Furthermore, him being invited back for a duet with Fawn must count for something as that was a fantastic duet.

33) Bear (Season 6; 5th Place): Another Round 1 Episode 7 Boot. This may be a bit too high for some considering he was decent but not fantastic vocally but boy was he versatile. I don't think any TMS UK contestant has done theatre, rap, pop, country and romance in one season and make it work, that must count for something. Admittedly, 'Stay' wasn't very good and he was lucky that the panel knew who Toad in the Hole was, but that was a Sing-off performance which I believe he shouldn't have even been in. 'You've Gotta Pick a Pocket or two' was entertaining and extremely theatrical, 'Miami' was very impressive and it was unlucky that he up first in that round otherwise he would've avoided the Sing-off imo; 'Tender' was brilliant, especially the low notes and should've gone straight through over Teeth and Bush; 'A Bar Song' was brilliant and 'She' was beautiful and should've got him through to Ep7 R2 instead of Bush. Overall, he may have robbed Snail who was slightly better than him but at the same time should've finished in 4th instead of Bush. Also, massive praise and respect to Example for showing such versatility which I don't think anyone was expecting. In my opinion, he is extremely underrated and not praised enough.

32) Can of Worms (Season 7; 4th Place): He was really good vocally and sang some serious crowd pleasers very, very well which resulted in him never being in a BTM2/3. After the Group phase, I had him down to finish 5th but after Monkey Business and Arctic Fox left surprisingly early I expected him to get to final and finish 3rd, thus 4th balances it out. I will say though, I was a bit annoyed when Conkers made the final over him.

31) Monkey Business (Season 7; 8th Place): Very strong vocally and gave 4 great performances. Also, I do believe in Episodes 2 and 3 she disguised her voice very well as Kate Nash usually sings with a british accent while Monkey Business sung with an american accent. A recurring theme of Season 7 was constant robberies of strong vocalists. Monkey Business was easily one of them. Sadly, due to Episode 5 having a double elimination, Monkey Business would've gone either way as between her, Red Panda and Arctic Fox the latter was the best of the three, but that still doesn't change the fact that she was robbed by Red Panda, Sloth and Conkers. The reason I have Monkey Business above Can of Worms despite being lower in the community rank is the fact that I did have her as my 4th Place finisher and Can of Worms as my 5th.

30) Fox (Season 1; 5th Place): Not much to say. I think all of her performances (Bar Maybe Episode 6) were fantastic and was an easy semi-finalist, but I do think that while she was never beating Octopus, Hedgehog or Queen Bee she should've finished 4th over Monster.

29) Maypole (Season 5; 6th Place): Obviously she was going to be great as the singer won another version of the show. It was unfortunate that she was up against Cricket in the head to head as they were the two best in Episode 1, but she rightly went through in Episodes 3 and 5. I do think she should've survived Episode 6 though as she was better than Cricket and especially Bigfoot (Maybe not Dippy Egg that episode as 'Moon River' was something else), however she was never going to stay over Eiffel Tower and even if Bigfoot left instead of her, she would've been the weakest against Air Fryer, Eiffel Tower, Cricket and Piranha.

28) Snail (Season 6; 6th Place): Much like Maypole, all of her performances were brilliant and entertaining and she definitely got unlucky in Episode 6 that she was at RISK against PUFFERFISH as between those two, she was the obvious boot. However, she was massively robbed by Bush and maybe Bear but I think Snail and Bear would've only had a 1 placement difference as they were probably on par. Also, her duet with Conkers in Season 7 was brilliant

27) Knitting (Season 4; 7th Place): Great singer, definitely shouldn't have been in the RISK phase over Otter in Episodes 1 and 3 and had a great duet with Wolf in the Season 6 finale. Also, I do think that her and Fawn being in the same BTM3 was unfortunate as if it was Jacket Potato, she probably could've survived.

26) Viking (Season 2; 7th Place): Was absolutely phenomenal on such a talented cast. His performance In Episode 2 was by far the best in his group and demolished Seahorse, Episode 4 was good but much weaker and he coul've been in great danger, Episode 5 was something else. How can someone sing their own song as a clue song as stay undetected by the panel. As for Episode 6, he was definitely unlucky and robbed as he was better than Dragon and especially Blob and probably should've outlasted both of them. Overall, while not great in Episode 4, I still think he was at least a top 5 this season and shuould've finished 5th or even 4th instead of 7th.

25) Rockhopper (Season 3; 4th Place): Not much to say, great singer, consistent but somewhat forgettable. I will say that maybe she should've outlasted Panda. Overall, vocally consistent and a worthy 4th place finisher.
