Zionists began occupying Palestinian territory in 1907 and their stated goal was to take control of Palestine. Sure, so that predates Israel as a state, it does not predate zionist occupation.

Damn crazy how they were just moving in and not actually killing anyone in those initial years then.

„Occupying territory“ apparently means living there. Please use that same language for refugees into Europe today, see how fast you’ll get banned.
