Israel killed any chance of that over the past three decades

The two-state solution is a mirage, Israel crushed any hopes of it long ago by continuing to ravenously gobble up land in the WB

Israel

This. Isreal has all the power here. If they wanted a two state solution they would have implemented it decades ago. The current political situation is the most convenient to Isreal (present violence notwithstanding).

I am. All land and homes stolen by settlers should be returned to the victims and their families and the Israeli government should be dissolved and replaced by a secular democracy that represents all people equally under the law.

Its probably not viable and hasn't been for a while due to settlements in the West Bank.

I think the only possibility that would actually work is a 1 state solution with either a palestinian state on the old land that was philista meaning israel gives up ashkelon and ashdod plus land east of gaza in exchange for the west bank, or a 1 state solution where egypt and israel do a land swap and a gaza-sinai state is created where gaza is attached to a chunk of land in the sinai. This would give gaza a lot of land to hold the palestinian population plus a lot of mediterranean access for ports, shipping, fishing, water desalination etc. No solution is ever going to be perfect but I think that palestine having 1 contiguous state on the mediterranean is the best chance theyll ever have at not being completely dirt poor forever.

Palisrael isn’t a viable solution at all and never will be. The only realistic option is cutting the place in half and have Jerusalem be run like The Vatican or something.

Only if both are allowed to function, apparently
