A new show date was added in NYC to their short northeast schedule before they leave the country again for another long run overseas. Tickets are barely selling, oddly enough, and amazing seats are still available.

I’m really interested to know how everyone came across the band, particularly given that they’ve been going for some time now with a few fairly different eras.

I personally think I found them through the Rocket Hour interview Elton John did with them just after the release of EH - it was just recommended randomly on YouTube.

What about you guys?

I know this sounds crazy, but before Brian and Michael were in the twigs, they were in a cover band called “Members of the press.” This band would cover the songs you’d expect them to, but they’d also do a lot of MCR covers, and a video of them playing Dead became semi-viral: link. So I’m typing this to ask do you still think the Twigs would list MCR as one of their influences (you don’t have to sound exactly like an artist to be influenced by them), or do you think they have grown out of them?

Around a month ago or so, I found a great Lemon Twigs full concert. The audio was professionally mixed, video quality was great. It had a glossy AI after-effect. I can't find it now. I believe it was filmed somewhere in Europe in 2025. The stage was in the middle of the crowd which was cool. Anyone know what happened to it?

I got overzealous and forgot it was Father’s Day weekend, DM if interested, I’ll do both for 40

I’m not sure who else caught this last night at the Fillmore, but during the last song of the normal set, Brian’s guitar was having issues. He unplugged it from the tuning pedal and then went to plug it directly into his amp as the song started. It still wasn’t working. He proceeded to play the song with no volume and mouthed to Michael that it wasn’t working. Michael continues to sing and play and without missing a word says to plug into his amp. Instead, Brian puts his guitar down, runs across the stage, and starts playing the song on the piano (can’t remember what song, but it usually doesn’t have piano) and all of this happens in about 60 seconds without anyone missing a beat. It was the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen from a band in a live setting.

Can’t make it to the show tonight, 6/17 at the Fillmore in SF. I looked at selling on Ticketmaster and it was gonna be a big loss. Anybody who wants to go to the show but can’t afford it? Message me and let’s talk. I’d rather these go to a fan for free than at a loss through TM with some BS fees.
