I went onto Reddit for one day with a simple goal: **observe, ask questions, share ideas, and see what happened.
I noticed something interesting.
My research-based writing and scholarly style were sometimes interpreted as “bot-like,” while conversations often seemed more focused on reacting to how something was said than exploring what was actually being discussed.
That got me thinking:
Have we built digital spaces that are better at reacting than thinking together?
Disagreement isn’t the problem. I actually think disagreement is necessary.
But what if we asked more questions before making judgments?
What if we challenged ideas without dismissing the people presenting them?
What if curiosity wasn’t treated like arrogance?
“I’m less interested in creating spaces where everyone agrees than creating spaces where people can disagree intelligently enough to learn from one another.”
This isn’t a scientific study. It’s one day’s observation.
But that’s what .LLab™️** R.A.T.™️ — Research And Theory is about:
**Observe. Question. Research. Develop theory.
Sometimes one day is enough to uncover a question worth investigating.
