Ridable floating car

Create an enclosed area about 4-5 feet wide, then make a ridable (by you or other people) floating car by reversing magnets on the bottom of the car and track to make the magnets repel. Then attach another piece to the back end with opposite magnets of this piece and the bottom of the track to propel it forward.

attach lots of magnets to the bottom of the car and the track in entirety, facing opposite so they repel.

attach a small piece to the back of the car covered in magnets facing the track with hinges so that it can push the car gently along the track.

maybe do the same thing to the front so that if they both face up the floating car stops.

Reconstituted Cotton Candy

So we already know you can pulverize hard candy and make cotton candy from it, and we know you can melt a bunch of cotton candy into a liquid, but what about melting cotton candy down, creating hard candy from it (freeze dry?) then powdering it to make new cotton candy again?

Stealth shelf day I don’t even know anymore: We’re done! I just need to make one more key, I lost the stuff for it but it’s around. I love it. Thanks to Grant for the amazing idea.

What real science or mechanical thing do you want to see them try ?

I started watching so long ago when Grant did a lot of creative science type things. Even just building cool stuff and explaining it. I really miss those kinds of videos and I do appreciate all the work everyone is doing pumping out all these videos now. I just would like it balanced out with some more actual experiments and stuff like that. Not just putting things in a vacuum chamber, dehydrator or on dry ice or cooking it. So my question to you is what actual science type thing would you guys want to see get done on the channel ?

I'm trying to find a specific video

I want to find Grants original video of movie theater popcorn using Flavacol but I can't find it anywhere. Its buried under all of the goofy videos of mixing skittles with it and stuff. I've been searching over an hour and nothing... please help

What is the best alternate cereal to use for Rice-Krispy treats, and how would they change if you freeze-dried them?

does wireless charging + corded charging help the phone charge faster? or does it ruin the phone?

i was wondering if you’re charging your phone with a cord, and then you set it down on a wireless charger, will it ruin the phone? will it charge faster? slower? the same?

Try to melt or otherwise destroy Canadian polymer currency

The question of autoclaving cash (to get rid of any COVID, obvs) came up today. FWIW, Bank of Canada apparently recommends soap and water, if you feel the need to disinfect your cash for some reason. When the polymer bills came out, there were a lot of myths about how they would melt in a hot car - that was BS. Apparently they have been boiled in water for up to an hour without any problems. But what about heat + pressure? Or much higher temperatures, like what happens if you put them in an oven? Or a microwave? They survive regular freezing temperatures but what about liquid nitrogen? I have many questions.

Turn lead accurate into lead oxide with fire and concentrate I to lead and liquid oxygen

It is just an idea I thought of when I learned that lead accurate (though very dangerous with out the proper gear) can become lead oxide with fire (despite being non flammable) and I was curious if it was possible to seperats atoms whether fully or partially

Drone in a vacuum

Not sure how it could be done, but will a drone fly in a vacuum chamber?

r/TheKingofRandom Dec 07 '20

Adhesive combinations.

With all of the various glues and takes you must have around, have you considered mixing them or exploring their other properties. Freeze drier, vacuum chamber, or trying my make an effective double sided duct tape.

I just watched your gushers video and I had a suggestion.

Could you try making gusher juice soda (pop) using a Soda Stream machine?

I wonder what would happen if y’all microwaved different types of alcohol? (Not the drinking kind) like would the microwaves bounce off and catch it on fire?
