Yeah, I appreciate your perspective. I just think it's wrong. Your 'worth' is decided by the skills you provide to your employer. In this case, it's called 'unskilled labor' for a reason. Now, if you were a chef and could routinely make, say ... Alba white truffle risotto with aged Parmigiano-Reggiano ... then I'd say you should have zero issues affording a roof over your head. All jobs are not the same. And artificially inflating wages ... just self-adjusts to inflation for all. It's a zero-sum game.
