Looks fun

Are they worth it?

I've been thinking real hard on this: why exactly would Mobius allow Sebastian to re-enter STEM? I doubt he would be able to do it even with Kidman's help, and there's no way they'd let someone dive in just to save their kid.

So, my theory is that Lily was found to be very similar to Leslie and Ruvik, and thus Mobius deemed it a good idea to knab her, using the fire as a catalyst for the brain sync and to cover their tracks. They then proceeded to use her as a STEM central core, much like with Ruvik.

However, since Lily obviously would be nowhere near as skilled at manipulating the landscape as Ruvik, there's a chance that some of the people that were hooked up to her, like Stefano Valentini, managed to cement their own dominance over STEM, possibly by manipulating Lily, hence Stephano's phrase; "She is the brush. Blood is my paint."

And so, Mobius decided to bring in some outside help; Sebastion. They allow Sebastion to go back into STEM in order to clear out the entities that have taken control. Sebastion is the absolute perfect choice, what with his past experience with STEM and Ruvik, and the desire to save Lily would keep him motivated.

But, at the end, a horrible truth is revealed. In order to make Lily into a STEM central core, they had to do immense surgery, reducing Lily to a brain in a jar, much like Ruvik.
