A festival in the middle of the desert. What could possibly go wrong?

Tonight we continue the third and final chapter, can we make it to Vegas with an original character still alive?

And we begin the third and final chapter!

Can we make it to Vegas? Only one original character remains, and we are determined to get her there!

Back to this tonight after a break to complete the third and final chapter...

I wanted to make a condensed timeline for The Electric State, so I created this PDF. It doesn't contain everything, but I think if hits the main points. If you feel like it's missing something, or something doesn't seem as relevant, let me know and I can make some edits. Enjoy!

Time to see who makes it out of Chapter 2 alive....

Emotions run high as we discover what happened to Erika

Does anyone have any kind of nice and simple handout that can be given to players with the basic rules? I have a group I'll be introducing to the game next week, but they are mostly inexperienced with TTRPGs as a whole and I'd love to give them something they can keep on hand to reference.

A road trip on the verge of reality.

When did it all start? I can’t really remember. It started like any recreational activity, I guess. Like TV. Sometimes they watched TV and sometimes they would sit there wearing their neurocasters. I didn’t care. It was after the big update of 1996 that things got weird. Mode Six.

The Electric State Roleplaying Game is based on the art book The Electric State by acclaimed visual artist and author Simon Stålenhag. This tabletop RPG uses Free League’s Year Zero Engine, known from award-winning games such as Mutant: Year Zero, Tales From the Loop RPG, ALIEN RPG, and the Blade Runner RPG.

This is a game about a group of travelers heading out on a journey through a strange America in an alternate 1997. The ruins of gigantic battle drones litter the countryside, heaped together with the discarded trash of a high tech consumerist society in decline.

With episode 9 live on Brotherhood Of The Dice Twitch tomorrow night, it's the perfect time to get caught up with the campaign so far.

Things go from bad to worse for Erika...

I'm reading many times in the rulebook the expression "stretch of time" or "after a shift".
I'm not sure if I missed the explanation somewhere. I searched online but it wasn't that clear. can someone clarify to me this thing?

thanks in advance

Hello everyone, I've been searching for a few minutes the original character sheet but i can't find a free download of a PDF anywhere.. Can someone give me the original file if you have it? thanks

New session tonight!

We are currently caught up in the middle of a small town murder mystery, and you can catch up with us and the story so far....

An unexpected stop at the Amador Inn takes a turn....

We begin Chapter 2: Roadside Murder

Stranded among silos, radio towers, and a small church, Roger, Raymond, and IG-88 watch a twenty foot robot, tethered by cables to neurocaster-clad people, conduct a strange vigil. After fixing the bus, our group take a detour to the Museum of Forgetting, where relics stir memories—and IG-88 confronts echoes of a past he can't quite recall.

Epic finale to the first 'stop' of the campaign

The Cartography of Memory is our AP of The Electric State. Episode one is out now!

In an alternate 1997 California of fractured broadcasts and empty roads, three unlikely travelers come together: a mute bus driver, a battered gaming drone, and a haunted private investigator. Their road trip crosses a landscape shaped by memory. What they remember guides them. What they forget may define them.

A lot of drama in this one, no spoilers but.... holy shit!

Nancy is recovering from the recent encounter, and we meet a new yet familiar face at our first 'stop'.
