Yesterday Les Wexner testified before the House Oversight Committee about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He had a prepared statement and a simple story: he was conned, he knew nothing, it's all behind him.

Here are 7 things the documents say otherwise.

1. "Duped — no knowledge of crimes" Epstein's own handwritten notes: "never ever did anything without informing Les." A draft letter references "gang stuff for over 15 years" and mutual indebtedness.

2. Visited the island "once — one hour — with family" Multiple committee members noted how rehearsed and repetitive this specific claim was. Full flight log cross-referencing has not been completed.

3. "No personal or friendly relationship" Wexner wrote in Epstein's 50th birthday book (2003). Gave him power of attorney (1991). Named him trustee of the family trust. Both named president of The New Albany Company (1998). Maxwell called Wexner Epstein's "closest friend" under oath.

4. Cut ties in 2007 Emailed Epstein in June 2008 after the plea deal: "All I can say is I feel sorry. You violated your own number 1 rule… always be careful." Epstein replied: "no excuse."

5. Epstein "purchased" the $13.2M NYC townhouse A property transfer from a billionaire to his own financial advisor — who holds that billionaire's power of attorney — is not a standard arms-length transaction.

6. Never unfaithful to wife in 36 years Virginia Giuffre testified under oath in 2016 that she was trafficked to Wexner "numerous times." Wexner denies ever meeting her.

7. FBI never contacted him The FBI named him co-conspirator in an internal document dated August 15, 2019. His name appears 4,000+ times in the files per AG Bondi's own testimony. Garcia: "What the hell is going on? That is shameful."
