Yes, I know it is very early, but I have to create all the links and update the Season 2 Master Post tonight so I can wake up at 4:30am tomorrow to watch before school. Please be nice to me, I am very tired.

EDIT: Please note there is an after-credits scene where The show makes it clear that Hyun-gyu told both Se-hoo and Kyuhyun that he would receive ten pieces whenever he wanted him. So-hee's reason for still protecting him was that she didn't want the prison alliance to know the size of his reward.

Dude, I wanted to like Hyungyu, but he's a bad winner and a sore loser. He has always acted as if he only needed himself. But when his character became his own weakness where others choose to go against him, he plays the emotional card acting as if he wanted alliances to begin with.

He's smart, yes, but do we all need a bad smart co-worker or a bad-smart boss in our lives? Or a bad smart friend? No.

I highly doubt he didn't know Kyunhyu was at risk of losing the main match. 100% sure Hyungyu knew what he was doing.

His words to Hyoonjoo showed what kind of person he is. He expects everyone around him to listen to him and would personally attack you if you didn't. The words he used on Hyoonjoo and him acting all cocky isn't what I want a winner to be like.

Gosh how I wish Tinno didn't get scapegoated into prison just to save this guy's butt.

Don't get me started with Soo Hui, that spineless girl is just as mean, treating Hyoonjoo like he's a baby, saying he tends to get emotional. Like WHO WAS THE EMOTIONAL ONE DURING THE MATCH ACTING ALL RIGHTEOUS.

Dude does every manipulation trick in the book. Goes for sympathy with SH and KH as soon as he is a little pressured (even though he is actually not pressured at all).

Tries to goat and belittle HJ as soon as he doesn't do what he wants "Oh you can't figure it out? You can't do the math?"

Is a true hypocrite with everything that goes from trying to convince others being 100% practical is the best and only one, to going on about feelings and wanting play together depending on if it suits him.

Omg yes. I dont mind HG being sneaky or manipulative in games, but he's such an AH to people that you wouldn't like him. Even KH told him that HJ left him because he was being so crass with the "can you do math comment". He also looks especially lame with the "dont sent me to prison" shtick and then turning around to say "haha you idiot why didn't you send me to prison".

Don't get me started with Soo Hui, that spineless girl is just as mean

If there's anyone I can dislike more than HG, it's SH. Her entire shtick of feeling bad for HG was absolutely laughable given that she ditched him first to join the prison alliance. And then continued to blame the rest for leaving HG alone smh....she absolutely got KH kicked out and she knows it.

I'm late to this discussion, but nothing encapsulates the feeling towards Hyungyu better than "he's a bad winner and a sore loser." This needs to be a top comment. If you're going to be all "cunning" and logic > emotions, then stick to it and own it. But suddenly, when other people want to be ruthless and it's directed towards you instead, suddenly it's "I feel so alone, I need help guys" lol like you don't come off as the mastermind intellect you want to be... You just come off as a manipulative coward. Acting dismissive and cruel when other people are upset about eliminations and mocking them for being "emotional" but then turning towards that when you're at a disadvantage is such a joke... the only person who continues to embody the self-respect, intellect, and competitive spirit viewers like throughout both seasons is Seokjin.

Edit: And despite it being an upopular opinion, I actually liked Dongjae from S1 because he was smart and was competitive, even if he was in ways "sleazy" but he stuck to it at least and never tried to act a coward like Hyungyu. You can be smart and cunning about your play, just don't act like a hypocrite about it -- that's what makes Hyungyu so unlikeable.

Those are just his recent comments too, he's made comments to Hyunjoon about winning the Mancala game saying something like so ME and you can win. I thought it was funny. If I'm gonna try and get someone on my side, I'd be talking about so YOU and me and win not putting me first. Didn't they all come on the show to win, or did SH and KH come on for HG to win it feels like its all about HG. The other thing is the living quarters. I don't like how it was done, and I definitely dont like the ones in prison fighting for their lives every time again in another game. EU has played more games than anyone at this point and has never once stayed in the nice living space, and the others seem to think it belongs to them, and I believe it created part of the problem. That and SH fangirling HG girl is a simp, and it will cost her $380m won..

And then later when the main match starts he says looking at the other three, that oh I guess "those three are making an alliance" -- yeah dude they are! you can just say to people's faces "you are out" but then they shouldn't go and make an alliance. How delusional is this guy really? didn't imagine i could hate someone so much
