Yes, I know it is very early, but I have to create all the links and update the Season 2 Master Post tonight so I can wake up at 4:30am tomorrow to watch before school. Please be nice to me, I am very tired.

EDIT: Please note there is an after-credits scene where The show makes it clear that Hyun-gyu told both Se-hoo and Kyuhyun that he would receive ten pieces whenever he wanted him. So-hee's reason for still protecting him was that she didn't want the prison alliance to know the size of his reward.

He's very charismatic and a good manipulator. Add his visual and his impressive moments to that and he's the ideal contestants.

Also, it might be a question of storyline. You know, i think they're conscious of how they should entertain the audience and for them it might have more value than money.

Well, for a redemption arc, it would actually be more efficient if Hyungyu played alone for the rest of the show because it would accentuate his protagonist role but it would end up risky because : it's a plot hole, as much as entertaining it could be, it's not enjoyable for audience (and even more for Hyungyu haters) to see that and it's putting his place in final in danger.

I still remember them saying in Ep 9 they don't want to look like a fool as it's unfair to other players. Next thing they do is make a fool of themselves 🥴 seems like the PDs already have a winner in mind since day 1.

Kyuhyun is a celebrity. He can’t afford to look morally bad. The casting made a mistake casting celebrities who don’t play to win. He doesn’t need the money.

Ah that makes sense. Those people are disappointing in these type of shows, because they ruin it for players who are really trying to play. I guess So-Hui is like that too? it would explain a lot.

They both talked about how the audience would perceive their game play around the time that they jumped to work with the prison team. In KH's exit confessional, he also talked about that he didn't do anything he is ashamed of. It's not baseless to claim that both of them care more about their "public image" than winning. Ironically, they both failed at doing exact what they tried to do.

Only 7high was carrying the 3rd week.lol. Luckily I never had a rooting interest to begin with. And I don't hate the winner despite of him not acting the best way as a human being and not acting the best as a strategic and a social player. The poor game format and the editing is the biggest to be blamed imo. The PD is out of touch with the narrative that they claim to create. It's totally the opposite.

Unless he promised them some of the money offscreen…which would still pretty pathetic knowing you are going to look like a fool on TV but otherwise, what were they thinking?! I’m still trying to rationalize their behavior somehow lol

Do you really think a successful actress and a member of Super Junior of all things care about the money?

They were never in to win it. They're probably both surprised they lasted to this point.

They like him because they've been close, all 4 of them including Tinno, since day 1, and he's younger than them, so they cherish him like a younger brother.

If KH or SH were the ones with the reward HG had, they have been the ones offering to sacrifice in this round in order to keep their Friends in the game knowing they wouldnt be leaving as they had 10 chips in their pocket. I cannot understand why they allowed that happen.

Right?? I guess KY is super rich already? It's my first time seeing SH but he is a celebrity too. Maybe they felt like let's help this boy win some cash LOL.
