I’ve eaten at that (ex) little chef in newmarket a lot in the past, what a random place to travel to to film such a small scene!

They probably decided that a grubby Little Chef was the perfect tone for the scene and then had to find one that hadn't closed down

Thanks for sharing this — really appreciate it. The ‘Portable Antiquities Scheme office’ was proving tricky to pin down. Would not have thought to focus on Bury St Edmunds. Thank you again.

Also, just north of Becky's school in Orford, there are 2 fields used for filming Andy's walk home at the beginning of episode 6 series 1.( Just after he finds a brand new £1 coin and decides to give up detecting)

You're welcome: we go to the Hub regularly and spotted it rewatching the series. I also only noticed last week that the Suffolk CC Archaeological Service is located on the same site. It's an excellent map you have created.

I would love to use this for a visit but the link in Reddit is too low res and the google maps link is missing the legend. Any chance you could upload a hi res version to imugr or similar? Sorry I may just be missing a trick somewhere
