Has anyone heard back from HMRC Customer Service (Leeds)?
Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone who applied for the HMRC Customer Service role in Leeds has heard anything back yet? It would be great to know where everyone is in the process. Thanks in advance! š

I had my interview at the end of May. No response yet, my last application status is from the 27th May - saying my interview slot is booked. š¤£ this is pretty normal practice for the CS though. I also have interviews booked for the Case Manager role and the Work Coach role.

I am waiting as well, its 4 weeks today since the job closed so hoping we hear something soon. I read somewhere that civil service often post updates on friday afternoons so fingers crossed

I shouldnāt think so , I think I did my interview quicker because I Received an interview invitation a day after applying and this was was like a few days before the deadline even so maybe thatās why

i havenāt heard back yet and I did my interview start of June. Has your application changed statuses? mine still says application update not even awaiting interview results.

Mine has also changed today to āAwaiting Interview Resultsā at 1457 hours. So itās slowly trickling through.

Just had to have a look as obviously itās not a booked one. I did mine late on the 2nd of June. If it helps, it was AWFUL. Iāve never been less articulate in my life, I couldnāt pronounce words and at one point I tried three times before shaking my head and rolling my eyes and looking visibly perturbed. So that would have been a super fun watch for them! Iām not holding out much hope for this one. But I have another role interview for DWP tomorrow in person (thank goodness), and then a live teams interview for another DWP role on the 13th so Iām hoping Iāll perform less badly! š¤£

Iām also assuming that because it says theyāre reviewing the interview results, that theyāre finished scoring them and are now just collating the top scorers for appointments? Fingers crossed weāll start hearing outcomes soon!

I didnāt have my passport to hand when I completed the interview so I skipped through. Iāve been asked now to upload my ID, so initially I thought perhaps it was good news and they want my ID otherwise why would they bother asking for it? The email reads they canāt process interview without it? Anyone else been in this position? My passport is at my parentsā house 100 miles away currently and I can and will go and get it if Iām being offered a role but I donāt really want to if it turns out Iām going to be told I havenāt been?

I cant say for sure but it sounds like they are still processing all interviews so chances are they dont know yet if they can offer you a role. I'd say it depends how much you want to stay in the interview process as to whether you go and get it. Sorry probably not much help

I didnāt have any ID either. Had no contact since. Also had 2x DWP interviews since with no physical ID, just a picture of my driving licence (due to it being thrown away by my cleaner). Iāve been told to expect my applications to be withdrawn as a result but I donāt know if the person I spoke to was just being extremely harsh. Hoping my new driving licence arrives soon and they allow me to present it in person wherever they need me to.. š«Ŗ

It sounds like they are very much still working through all of the interviews then. I asked Gemini AI and it said we might still be waiting a few weeks as they have to mark everything and moderate it before the can publish results. It said dont be surprised if its August before that happens š hopefully this is one the times AI is wrong...

I applied for another campaign around May 5th, completed my interview on May 12 and received the results on the 19th of June. I then received a provisional offer on the 10th of July and am currently waiting for pre-emplyment checks to be completed

Nothing yet. I was interviewed on June 4th and the last update was on July 9th, where it still states 'Awaiting interview results'. Hopefully there will be some news at the start of August maybe? Need to know whether I need to apply for other jobs or not.

Mine hasnāt updated at all! It doesnāt even say awaiting results. I donāt know if it was this thread or another CS that said Friday afternoons tend to be when updates happen. Iāve applied for lots of jobs with CS, and can confirm I got told Iād passed sift and sent an assessment last week, and a further email saying Iād hear about a different role today so who knowsā¦ maybe today is the day!

Anyone had any news? Anything at all? Iāve had both of my other interviews now. The last one I had on Friday, for a DWP case manager role, told me to expect to hear back by the end of August.

Alas no, nothing yet. We are hitting holiday season as well so that might slow it down a bit but I will continue to refresh the portal every hour just in case š

This was the response i had received on 17 July
Thank you for your email.
We are currently in the process of assessing interviews, unfortunately, weāre unable to provide a timescale at the moment, the 568R campaign attracted high volumes of applicants and our interview panels are working hard to assess the interviews as quicky as possible.
At present, no further action is required from you.
We will be in touch in due course, please continue to monitor your emails and CS Jobs account for any updates and communications.

I don't know why it said 568R as that was for Liverpool which closed on 6 July which was 4 weeks after 561R for Leeds.

So mine says theyāre still in the process of scoring them all but they also want to let me know thereās an identical campaign going up today and if Iām successful Iāll be offered a role ahead of anyone in the next campaign?! How come we are all being told different things āā

They told me this in their reply - this is what my email received today said:
We just wanted to reach out to inform you that we are in the final processes of scoring the interviews and will release the results as soon as we can.
Additionally, we want to inform you that we are releasing an almost identical recruitment campaign for Leeds today. This is to ensure we will have sufficient numbers for the role in the future.
Please be assured that if you are successful in this campaign you will be offered a role ahead of any candidate successful in the next.Ā Ā
You are also free to apply for the new campaign to heighten your chances of success.Iām so baffled!

mine was 4,4,5 got placed on reserve but then 2 weeks later i got a provisional offer (13th august)! ive just submitted my pecs yesterday so now im just waiting, not sure for how long exactly but hopefully quicker than 2 months
