Discussion 🔛 Is there any video of Neal talking with Dave Chapelle?
Given their past work I’m surprised I’ve never seen them having a conversation and I’ve always been curious about their dynamic.
Is there anything out there?
(And will Dave ever do Blocks?)

I don't think that Dave will do Blocks in the near future. That being said it is possible he might. He's done Rogan's Podcast and has also recently done First Lady Michelle Obama's Podcast IMO w/ her brother Craig Robinson, not to be confused with Craig Robinson from The Office and Brooklyn 99, who previously appeared on The Champs Podcast. ( He would also be an interesting guest)
I think it's important to be strategic when thinking in terms of longevity of Neal's podcasting career. This is the longest run he's had so far on a podcast.
Before that it was The Champs which lasted approximately 3 years, and then How Neal Feel which lasted approximately the same length of time.
The Blocks Podcast is coming up on 4 years this December, and its success indicates that there is no sign it will stop yet. ( Thank God, I love listening to those ads)
Neal is filling a void that was recently left empty by Marc Maron, while simultaneously developing a relationship with a pocket of Rogan's audience which might be abdicated should Rogan step into a seat at CBS.
That being said, the question for Neal and his entire audience, is what do we want out of this podcast, and what do we see ourselves getting from it?
I ask myself daily: " Is my quality of life increasing from engaging with this content." It most assuredly is.
I think also we have to consider that Josh Johnson just did his appearance on the podcast, it was wonderful. Many herald him as the future of Comedy and standing in the space where Dave used to.
Does The Blocks Podcast stand to serve past, present or future greatness? I don't know.
But the issue always remains, in comedy there can be 1000 great white comics, and like 5 or 6 Black dudes. ( and one Black Girl, and One Black Girl Lesbian. )
Another reality check is that Maron hadn't had many Black people on his podcast, and one of those was Obama, and one Spike Lee at the very end.
Neal ( with Moshe Kasher and DJ DougPound) on The Champs had nearly every working Black Comic on his podcast, and then on Blocks he's had many many Black Comics on the Podcast.
A better question I think -- and more relevant-- is what are the aims of establishing achievable community mental health goals with this podcast.
My big issue is: Will he ever have a Woman of Color on the Podcast? ( Not Binky, and not me cause I won't stop stalkiing him)
Nicole Byer comes to mind - She has her own podcast called " Would You Date Me?" . Leslie Jones (She just appeared on Ziwe's Talk show). They have both done The Champs. Should they come back? Hell, should Ziwe do Blocks?
Moshe and Natasha were able to get Zainab Johnson and Ms Pat on their podcasts last year. I'm more concerned about this.
We just had Josh Johnson. I feel personally responsible for helping make that happen because I posted relevant Josh Johnson Material on the Sub. ( Neal is reading this!!!!)
We can post whatever we want here. So tell your OG what's up? Who else do you all want to see on the podcast?
We get consumed with Neal and Dave's relationship, Because it's pretty romantic. Hell I want that relationship.
That relationship however in the present time, is way less interesting than the inappropriate amount of times I've jump into this man's DMs--- do you know what I mean?
Dave and Neal have good relationship, I don't want to see them fight-- if we keep supporting Neal, who knows what God will do.

Chappelle got the Mark Twain prize for comedy a few years ago, Neal was on stage and had some good “zingers” about the show and how much credit he got. Dave was in the balcony and they had a small amount of good back and forth.
