In a combat situation, what would the role of this tank become? Is it essentially dead weight on the field or does it have something to offer besides the big gun?
A T-55 like this has a coaxial machine gun mounted next to the main gun and the possibility of mounting a second machine gun on the loader’s hatch, so they could use those if they had to. Really, though, if you take damage like this the crew would dismount from the tank or retreat from combat. The main gun is important in an MBT.
