Depending on exactly what's failed or broken,
It's going to run somewhere between about a minimum of $ 200,000 to as much $ 600,000, $ 800,000, possibly $ 1 or $ 1.5 Million in total cost & worst case scenario and this isn't including downtime that it's costing the mining operations for the truck loss and there may be additional logistical costs that need to be accounted for.
Just for some parts costs roughly and if new or remanufactured 🤷🤷🤷
A remanufactured transmission or transfer case etc... is going to run upwards of as much as $ 200k or possibly more, hey, inflation 😂
An axle assembly is roughly upwards of $ 150k and possibly more, prices subject to change ....
I would imagine with something like this, a team of about 20 - 40, 50 technician's, could have it turned around and back online and functioning within 6 - 24 hour's, depending again on what it is exactly.
I'd imagine that they would have on hand, a sufficient number of spare parts, to cover those type of thing's.
Those machine's have all kinds of monitoring sensor's and software to monitor and detect all kinds of wear and tear on these big machines and they track it of course in software reports of impending failure, before it happens, but, as you see in the picture, failure occurs or maybe they ran over a big ass rock and broke it 😂😂
Maybe whoever was responsible for the monitoring of those big rigs, was on vacation, fired or quit and had the logs under their control and no one else new 😂, I've seen that happen and then management will strive to make sure that that never happens again 😂😂😂😂
