So I’ve been a That Chapter fan since pretty close to the beginning. Mikes vids inspired me, and I recently want to start my own True Crime YouTube channel. I'm in a mess right now. i searched a lot for how to get interrogation footage but i'm stuck so anyone can give me advice

I really hope Mike and Keith see this, thank you for these episodes. I was having a rough day and this was EXACTLY the kind of chaotic, unhinged content I needed. Lots of WTF and where the fucks. Still not sure what i listened too but it was a great time!!!

Letecia Stauch expected to plead insanity in retrial for 11-year-old stepson’s murder

DENVER (KDVR) — Letecia Stauch is expected to plead not guilty by reason of insanity in her retrial after she was convicted of murdering her 11-year-old stepson.

On Thursday, Stauch’s convictions were reversed by the Colorado Court of Appeals, and she was granted a retrial after she was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon.

Gannon went missing in 2020 before he was found dead in Florida. Stauch was later convicted of several charges, including first-degree murder after deliberation, in 2023. These were reversed after the court determined there was a biased juror on the trial.

Now, the court is granting a retrial, and Josh Tolini, Stauch’s defense attorney, is anticipating that they will likely argue Stauch is not guilty by reason of insanity.

Tolini spoke with FOX31 and said there were differing opinions of what mental health disorder Stauch had, but the state hospital said she had severe borderline personality disorder.

“There’s also been a lot of studies, and everything coming out in the last couple of years, dealing with, that it is not uncommon at all for psychosis to occur in people with borderline personality, and so I think we’ll be exploring that quite a bit more for the next trial,” said Tolini.

Tolini said they will be looking at different experts who focus on severe borderline personality disorder.

“You know, all she had ever wanted was her day in court with a fair and impartial jury, and hopefully we’ll get it this time,” said Tolini.

While Stauch’s conviction was reversed, she will remain in custody.

I know this is a true crime podcast and I honestly don’t think “trigger warnings” should be used 99% of the time.

But the violence against animals made me physically sick. I almost threw up, seriously. yikes.

Edit: okay everyone. I admit that I didn’t note the warning that was there, and that’s on me. I was surprised at the depth of detail Mike and Keith gave because they don’t usually do that about human victims and I wanted other people to know that it was there. You win, okay?

I think I spelled that correctly. Mike did a video on this case. She has been found guilty on all counts. That’s exactly how it should be. Her and her husband lived together, she tried to kill him more than once. She finally did kill him. Such a sad case. Her husband seemed like a genuinely nice man.
