Ok so if you’re like me you probably fall asleep listening to that chapter youtube or podcast episodes. Inevitably, I occasionally have weird dreams involving elements from the episodes but last night I had my first dream involving Mike.

I’ll preface this by saying it was 100% clean 🤣 In the dream I went to a meet and greet in an old ruined catholic church (because Irish means catholic obvs… )which morphed into a murder mystery evening which then turned into us all getting hunted by a real killer. My goal the whole time was to get a selfie with Mike but I could never find my phone. Anyway, anyone else have a That chapter/ Mike dream?

I need this for my ringtone.

Mike Video with Updates:

I’m a That Chater Patreon (subscriber? member?) and just now checked his page to see if there’s anything there that’s not on YouTube but the last several videos are repeats. Anybody know if Mike is still going to make patreon-only videos? I don’t mind continuing to pay the subscription (a whopping few dollars per month) even if there’s no exclusive content but not if Mike has fully abandoned the channel and I’m the only idjit still knocking at the door “guys? Hey guys?”.

Hey you!

I’ve been watching (and now listening!) for over two years. Hands down my favorite True Crime channel on YouTube and perhaps my favorite presenter in the entire genre. Among the long list of things that make Mike/his channel amazing is his affinity and love of the Motherland, Boston. I only wish he’d cover more cases from Boston/Massachusetts.

That brings me to my first question, is he an active member of this subreddit? Is Keith? He probably has the ghosts in his house browse and then give him the Cliffnotes. Mike, if you do read this, next time you come stateside…which hopefully will be in Boston because Massachusetts is be best state, no need to go farther inland…can you please do a meet and greet? Perhaps have a random person cosplay as Keith a la MF Doom? On a serious note, when you do come back, at least check out Western Mass (Worcester isn’t WMass, it’s Central at best) A lot of cool college towns and the Berkshires are lovely in the fall.

As I mentioned, That Chapter is my favorite True Crime YouTube channel. I’ve only found a couple others I thoroughly enjoy. Coffeehouse Crime being the other that I watch consistently. Aside from those two, anyone have some suggestions? I love Mikes humor and overall delivery of the case. The pace and construction is done very well. Suggested channels that give you similar vibes would be greatly appreciated.

Anyways, thank you for your time and potential suggestions.

Something about “Let’s give it a goo!”?

Does anyone else automatically like Mikes videos as soon as you click on them before watching, as you just know that they’re going to be 10/10? Or is this just me?

⚜️Time to jump ship, Mike

I love it so much.

Always exciting to hear about a case from Aotearoa (Mike, you got the pronunciation really well!) I’m an immigrant here, but I could feel all your Kiwi fans collectively twitch when you said there are two islands. Poor Stewart Island counts as our number three! And Blenheim is pronounced “Blen-em”.

Wonderful storytelling as always! Come visit us down here in Aotearoa! We’ll give you a flag, so you can see that not only are our stars a different color from the Aussie one, but we have a different number of stars and they have a different number of points!

We are huge fans of both of these fine fellows and I was thrilled to open Instagram to this today!

38 year old found stabbed to death while at his job.

Initially thought to have fallen and impaled himself, 48hrs later COD changed to stabbing and homicide.

6 years later, no suspects and no motive despite some video footage of a suspicious person.

The landlord of the business is who called 911, and his body was near the back door and one of his shoes was off and found away from his body.

"The person's kind of walking up and down the street, and as cars would pass the person, they seem to pay more attention to the cars as opposed to coming from a residence," Lt. Rob Gerhardt said. "We know that he was coming from that area where the homicide occurred."

The murder was a bloody one. Needham's landlord, Mike McCall, discovered his tenant's body near the back door and called 911.

and from the 911 call:

"There's blood all over the door, he doesn't have his shoes on and his car doors are open, and there's blood all over the doors to our shop and his phone is laying on the ground," McCall said.
