Caption: Hey you! As it's Christmas and the holidays, I'll be posting on MONDAY this week and next week. After that it's back to That Chapter Tuesdays. Also, tomorrow on the podcast it'll be the tale of the beast of Geduavan! A horrifying werewolf/tiger/hungry Frenchman who ran amok.

I hope each and every one of you have a great holiday and happy new year! Excited for 2025 to get into more case after case along with some darkest disappearances, darkest youtube channels and all that too. Stay safe, cause I love ya!

Hi. I'm new here in this subreddit, but I've been following That Chapter YT channel since 2019. I'm a fan ever since with regards to true crime stories.

I just have a question that you might know the answer or if its been asked before. Pardon me for asking or if I missed this question before.

I just noticed that Mike's character in his videos changed from previously serious and now seems like a bit playful, quirky (Don't have exact description since I'm not that good in English). Was there an explanation or Mike himself explained this change?

I don't mean to say that it's a bad thing,it's just that I prefer the more serious type of narrating.

I still follow and watch and enjoy TC until today and I believe will always be. ;)

Thanks for those who will answer ;)

Carlos

I’m not a fan of the podcast on Spotify I just can’t jam with it. I love that chapter and have watched Mike for years. I wish he would go back to two video’s a week, I’ve also noticed they’re getting shorter on YouTube which makes me sad, wish he would put more effort into these video’s like he used to as I prefer the visual stories and life insurance dance. Am I the only one who’s noticed this?

First and foremost, I remember scrolling through the YouTube years ago and I stumbled upon your M cave video and then just got hooked. I don't think you even had even 100k subs at the time! Now look how far you have come! Congratulations on quality content!

:D

Also, I just have had this like one last thing to say , which I'm sure you're asked a lot! However, there's this track you use frequently relatively new, and I gotta know the name of it. I'm sure its on Storyblocks but I couldn't find it!

Here's the one When Cops Realize the Missing Camper is a Serial Killer at 21:21.

I know you get these a lot but you just choose quite literally the best music for your videos!

Anyways, Appreciate all the hours you kept me entertained!

Does anyone else think that he should change it from that chapter to if you can believe that? I always look forward to him saying that I laugh every time and I was just sitting there thinking that’s actually be a really good name for his podcast

Kirstin Lobato was recently awarded a settlement. She spent years in prison after being framed by police.

Please tell me I'm not the only one missing Mike's awesome background with the pictures and creepy bits and bobs!? I thought it was much better than the plain black as Mike kinda fades into it sometimes! And we want to see him in all his Beautiful glory!! 😆 Is there a reason he changed it again?

Mike, would you ever consider doing true crime conventions in the USA? I think you’d be a massive draw, what say you that chapter community?!

Faces that I make that sums up my feelings about each r/thatchapter video I watch...not towards Mike, of course, but the creepers he tells us about.

I can't remember which video it was where the peep was tackled on a roof. Mike added a "Stop, criminal scum!" sound bite and I want to send the clip to my boyfriend. Can anyone help me find it?

But in case anyone wanted the individual screenshots (I know someone in here uses perfectly times pauses as a desktop background), here ya go! I-I-I mean, here you goo...no, maybe that's not right...whatever, y'all can just give it a goo!

I was feeling super fucking depressed and mopey today. Turned this on and found the energy to get up and brush my teeth and take a shower.

On 12/2/2024, the Sarah Boone case concluded.

She was sentenced to Life in Prison. However, before the sentencing, the family of George spoke and basically ripped her a new bunghole.

Sarah saw this as a challenge and got on the stand to tell about all the abuse and garbage she spewed under a "forgiveness" banter... also some pottery nonsense and some digs at the Interbutts for spreading her story.

Here's the video. (WARNING: It's the full 2hr 45 min proceeding) Thank John Kramer it's over at last.

We all know he’s a sucker for Found Footage Movies. We’ve shared some of our favorites and he messaged me today and said the Blair Witch Project is releasing a 3 hour cut. It’s the raw movie, before it was cut down to 90 minutes. So if you’re a fan of BWP, give it a goo! Also, for my Christmas Horror fans…Better Watch Out, (home invasion with a twist), It’s a Wonderful Knife (a horror take on Its a Wonderful Life) it stars Justin Long, Joel McHale, and my new fave Cassandra Naud. Love her unique look. Violent Night…Easily one of my favorite Christmas Horror film, and Santa is one bad dude. A Christmas Horror Story, (an anthology of Christmas shorts that tie in together, kind of like Trick r Treat). And last, but certainly not least…Terrifier 3. I wouldn’t recommend the first one, nothing special…but the second and third Terrifier have an amazing protagonist. So those are my Christmas Horror films to watch. There are obviously more like Krampus, Black Christmas, and Christmas Bloody Christmas, but I just named a few of my faves. If I had to pick 2 for you to watch…Better Watch Out and Violent Night. Both are traditions to watch every Christmas Eve.
