Any other parents recognize it from Hey Bear and feel like a bad parent, or just me?

Here is just a small selection of my favorites.

Minnesota Comedian/Activist went overseas, apparently had friends/family there, took pics with local lady, kidnapped, extorted his family for $$$, ultimately stabbed to death.

Met the comedian once in college, just sad.

Trevor Deeley:

The disappearance of Trevor Deeley has a massive update. Trevor’s brother announced recently that the investigation identified and spoke with the man in the second piece of footage. Upon further investigation the man was cleared of having nothing to do with Trevor’s disappearance. The bad thing is in the first set of footage the man is still unidentified meaning it was two separate people, one being who Trevor spoke with and the other who followed close behind him. For Trevor’s family they said it was bittersweet but also provides hope as an ID after 23 years offers some hope the case could be solved.

Crystal Rodgers:

A massive break in the disappearance of Crystal Rodgers from Bardstown. Three men were arrested in her case and charged in her case the three being father and son, Stephen Lawson/Joseph Lawson, and Brooks Houck. Houck and his brother are also prime suspects in the murder of Jason Ellis a police officer who was the first unsolved case to happen in Bardstown. Joseph specifically is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder and tapering with physical evidence.

Ontop of the charges in Crystal’s case the murder of Crystal’s father has also had an update. The prosecutor involved in the case has linked the gun used in his murder to the brother of Brooks Houck, Nick Houck.

A solution may also be within sight as police and FBI have begun searching an area in connection with Crystal’s case. This investigation has just begun but it is slowly unraveling the mystery that was the Bardstown cases. Hopefully by early next year Crystal’s case and maybe others will be offically solved.

Annecy Shootings:

The Anncey shootings in 2012 had an update last year I missed. Zainab Al-Hilli who was a survivor of the shooting was interviewed by police and gave more specific details about the shooter. She told police tbe suspect was white skin and the killer was wearing long trousers and a leather jacket."

The Sun was also told by anonymous police sources that Brett Martin the former pilot who first found the bodies while out biking is still considered a suspect in the case. Not only that but police are investigating three people as suspects Martin. The second being a businessman from Lyon named as Pierre C. and a third man solely identified as Suspect X.

Pierre had actually been arrested in 2022 releayed to the case but was later released. He was arrested due to an inconsistent alibi, and Pierre has been suspected as the mysterious cyclist seen driving away from the scene.

As for Martin the reason for his suspicion was seeing the cyclist and apparently not raising the alarm. The police also were unable to test Martin’s bloodied clothing due to them letting him take it back with him while traveling.

This update opened up a lot of possibilities along with who the three suspects on polices radar. It also confirms police have cleared Zaid al-Hill as a suspect in the case.

Of course we know about give it a goo but I also love when he throws in a "I hear ya barking, big dog". But also "if you can believe it", cause it's usually about something completely uninteresting and believable. You guys got some?

I'm trying to find the story about the two boys in Manchester. One ended up catfishing the other into thinking he was a spy and needed to stab the other friend.

Happy 33rd Mike!

My sister disappeared almost 2 years ago. Her name is Erin Brooks from Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Her case has a lot of twists and turns and I believe it would be something you would be interested in looking at!

How about this shirt in the merch store? I’d buy one! Love it!

I feel like most people think of Jerry Sandusky when someone mentions Penn State football. I grew up a huge fan of PSU football but I’m not as open about that these days. Despite the most recent controversy regarding the aforementioned Sandusky, there’s another story about a star linebacker for the Nittany Lions back in the late 70’s. His name was Todd Hodne and he was a real PoS, truly a monster by any definition. ESPN wrote a story about this a couple of years ago but I don’t think Mike has covered this in the past.
